to remove a Rune off your armor?
and to get my axe mastery to 16 do i just use 1 Superior and 1 Minor?

yes u can use a expert salvage kit but ull lose that piece of armour forever
2: no only one type of rune can be apllied to each piece of armour. they dont stack up with minor,major and sup

i mean like on 2 differnt peices of armor. does the Sup rune increse it by 3 or just by 1?

supieror increases the atrribute by 3 minor by 1...if you have a supieror rune on and add a minor rune to ANY other armor piece in that set...then you will still have 3....if you have a minor and add a suppieror to another piece you will only get +1...runes do not stack at all...even if you put them on different pieces of armor

Even on 2 different pieces of armor, sup count for +3 and minor won't be affective, exactly as if you hadn't apply the minor
To get you Axe mastery to 16, use a sup rune and executionner helm (verify this name, i can be wrong). That's 12 base + 3 sup rune + 1 helm = 16 Axe mastery
i confirm that if you expert-salvage your armor to get a rune back, you'll lose your armor and you got a chance not to have the rune...

Summary:
To recycle a rune from old armor, use Expert Salvage Kit.
General rule: You cannot stack runes.
To recieve 16 in any attribute, you need 1 Superior Rune and a head piece with +1.
Tip: To get even more bonus, try to get a hold of weapons that have +X to your attribute (X% chance when using attribute).

If the intent is to keep the armor, but loose the Rune, you can "overwrite" the existing Rune with another one. You don't get the old one back.

It is the Executioner's Helm that does indeed give a +1 Bonus to Axe Mastery.
It can be gotten from every Trader who sells armor, from Ascalon City on up. The armor rating differs, the Axe Mastery bonus does not.
