Aight, so I have a lvl 20 W/N. I'm in the crystal desert about to get ascended. When i got to Drok's i wanna change him for a W/Mo so i can tank well in FoW and UW. Although i love my N powers, such as putrid explosion and soul feast, is it possible to tank with a W/N and still do damage?

welllllll yes u can. but, like i have posted before, tanks are NOT the damage dealers. they are only meat shields. It really doesnt matter which secondary you use. personally, i love my wamo and will never change it due to that reason. BUT to answer your question, yes, you can still tank with a W/N...you have been doing it the entire game :]

I would say yes, but look into using blood magic skills that heal you as well as do damage. Specifically, Vampiric Touch and Vampiric Gaze. Curses are also a good idea for tanks as they can significantly weaken the enemy that is trying to bash your head in.
EDIT: Dang Star_Gazer, looks like you beat me to the punch on this one. ;-)

As far as I know beeing Mo is no real requirement to be a tank. It is more importanto to farm solo. But to be a good tank you can also go for the elite "tainted flesh" and use shield stance for defence. As tainted flesh is death magic you can still use putrid explosion or even better, soul feast for recovering health. Still want to change to Mo? (I personally switch to monk occasionally when running for guildmates or when farming, but am very happy with my Wo/N for the rest of the time.

I actually prefere a W/N over a W/MO. loading up with 2-3
healing abilities isent worth it when healing signet or lions comfort will get you by just fine. the skill pleague
touch however is a huge help, since conditions like weakness, blind, and cripple are serious warrior shutdowns.

I say just take all the defensive stances you want to be hard to kill with your warior then use SS! lol that might be interestin...... I know when I made my Wammo into a W/N (which i later changed back :) ) I took life transfer lol... crazzy degen but that was for PvP lol
SS might be a good joice for you

Whenever the target foe takes physical damage, all other foes adjacent to that target take some shadow damage. It's basically Barbs, except instead of affecting the target it affects everything around the target.
This is a pretty old thread, though... The original poster probably isn't even around anymore. I know neither StarGazer nor blackpheonix are.
