For your sig go to your profile, click on account information and fill in what you want in the siganture box. If you want a picture in your sig you have to have it somewhere on the internet, then put this in your sig box:
<![CDATA[<img src=(place img url here)>]]>
As for your avatar, click on account images and click browse to find the file on your pc you want to upload.
