| CoV got delivered today!! |

Ok, I'm confused...GameStop said they were mailing out the retail versions on the 27th, I just got mine today! I got the Scorpion figurine (darn it, I wanted Ghost Widow!)
Ok, so after tonight's beta event is over...so is beta. Do I still have to download the stuff off the internet or can I use the CoV disc? It says on the forums that when you download the client for the 2 day head start, you don't have to reload when you get the retail copy, only upgrade or start a new account with the serial number.
Well, if it's the same thing as on the disc, can I just use the disc instead of taking who knows how long to get it off the internet?
Sorry if this sounds simple to figure out, but, I just don't want to take any chances on messing up my account.

Not sure, my copy is still lost out in the mail somewhere (last seen about 24 hours ago in Louisville, KY -_-'). But without any official word, I'd grab the Download just to be safe. Leave it up while you sleep or at work/school and it should be done when you're back. That is strange though, all the sites say they ship out on the 27th...

Well...I think the only issue would be the updates that they've made during beta. I'm relatively confident that you'll be able to download the original game from the CD, but you'll still have to get the updates. Of course, that will take a lot less time. Either way, good luck. Also, congrats on getting the game so early. I don't know anyone else who has it yet.

yeah, I've been (im)patiently tracking mine via UPs...it says it'll be here on Friday, so I hope it does...
As far as the download goes, if you've already downloaded the 1.6G Issue 6 patch, then that's all you need to do. There a post about it on the COV boards (which I copied to the pre-order thread here at GameAmp).

Got mine today too! I got the ghost widow figure and the statesman card. It is 4 cds. I ordered it from gamestop.com.

Wahahah! My preorder and retail came today! I got the statesman card also, and I'm not quite sure who this figure is of =X (he's some blue guy on top of water)

I tried to enter the code, but of course it said I had to wait unitl monday...kinda odd, as I'm sure it won't let you play anyways, so you'd think they would let you register early to cut down on Monday's traffic.

I pre-ordered from actual store instead of online. I gave no email add or anything. How the hell do I play CoV early without anything proving otherwise (unless the code I entered w/ my pre-order disc covers it?)

If you entered the code from the preorder disc, then you're good to go for Saturday-Sunday. Then on Monday, get the retail version, open up the CD case, and put that number into your acount and hit activate. ~.~

Your pre-order code that gets you into headstart should also unlock your special costime piece so it should be available to you during the headstart.
