Just a little test....because if you even hint at cussing in the all new official EA BF2 Forums...you get these nice little nasty notes in your email.
FUCK SHIT BITCH!!!!
Wonder if it happens in here too
Cussing is a way to express feelings. Especially in typed statements. It is also part of who I am. No I dont cuss like a sailor....however when something realy fucking pisses me off....you get the point.

hell yeah, man. explicatives are KEY. nothing says "oh man wtf the just happened!" like saying "SON OF A BITCH!"
if someone is offended by a word, that's their own damn problem, and they need to grow up and get over it. rock on man.

Let me remind you of the rules you agreed to follow when you registered with GameAmp:
| QUOTE | The Rules:
Do not post any material which may be deemed offensive to others. This includes, but is not limited to: pornography, slander or libel against any other person, foul language (use your best judgment), and any material which any other person besides yourself holds a copyright on (unless you have express written permission).
|
emphasis added
Apparently you lack sufficient judgement to know what language is appropriate in a public setting and what is not. Whether it is your lack of education, limited English vocabulary, good upbringing or just ignorance of manners doesn't matter. The fact is that you both know it violates forum rules both here and at EA. Yet you do it. This means you know you risk being kicked/banned from the forums. So why do you push it? This is not a "public" forum but a private moderated site where there are people like me who find your juvenile, purile speech offensive.
Whomever it is who is sending BigDawg the emails is as juvenile as he is. Putting one's email public is foolish as well. It is an invitation for abuse.
Since I'm well into middle-age and have been a soldier and cop now for over two decades. So theonlyNw you can't just say that someone like me needs to grow up. I'd say you two need the time to season, mature and realize that there are places where it is best to not show how ignorant and foolish you are. This forum is one.
Now would you two care to discuss something relating to Battlefield 2? Such as laggy servers, noobs who take off in helos yet haven't learned to fly, the lack of power for 5.56mm NATO rifles when AK-101's in the same caliber do significantly more damage or another worthwhile topic?

it's true that you will wind up in a better postion for not using words that some people find offensive, but the fact is that you shouldn't HAVE to restrict yourself when speaking in any way shape or form. i do not "swear" because i have a limited vocabulary. i do it because such recognizable explicatives carry an emphasis that no other words in the language carry. i do it because idiotic taboos are detrimental to the collective intelligence of the human race.
if you've decided to not bother with changing people's minds on the matter then that's your own prerogative. but if someone believes that avoiding the causes of their phobia of explicative words is the best way to go, they are being childish.
it's like when back when we were all in 4th grade and if anyone said "butt" everyone would say (with a gradual upward slide in pitch) "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, i'm tellllllllllllling"
if such a stigma wasn't applied to them then there would no longer be a problem.
and yes, i'm with you all the way on the lag, the noobs, and the crappy ballistics and recoil configuration.
