Hello all,
Was just curious to see if someone had a comprehensive and complete listing of items you can unlock in the game.
Right now I just jot them down on a notebook for each character. I assume that each character(on the same account) has a different set of unlocked items. What I mean is that even though the character is in the same account where another character has unlocked item XXX, then the new character needs to still unlock item XXX, right?

Unlocking skills/weapon upgrades/runes has no effect on your PvE characters. Unlocking an item is when you obtain it on your PvE character and it has now been "unlocked" for use on PvP characters.
Example:
You have a mesmer/necromancer (PvE) and you obtain the skill "empathy" this skill is now available for all the mesmers you create in PvP
Example:
You have a ranger/elementalist (PvE) and you get the skill meteor, you may now use this skill on all your PvP characters, but if you have an elementalist/monk (PvE) you will have to get the skill for that character
As for the list, I dont know of any as of yet

There's a program that actually has a whole list. You can uncheck/check which items/skills you unlocked or not, and save the date. Now...will get back to you when I find it again. Seeing how one computer literally caught on fire, one crashed, and a laptop has a bad virus.
