I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! This is my favorite holiday, and I hope you all have a good one. Of course this is the 1st time in over a week that it is storming here (the lightening is lovely in the morning), but unless it floods or something i will be trick or treating.
So for all of you out there that will be joining, have a safe one!

Yup villains are capped at 40. And I will be handing out candy this year because I am to lazy to get dressed up and take my kids door to door.

why does everyone think you need a kid w/ you to go trick or treating? i mean is it so wrong knocking on people's doors at the age of 27 dressed up and asking for candy?

I dunno, when I do that, people tend to call the cops. Of course, it could be my costume choice (6' 500lb. man with a bloody sword), or it could be because I do it in May. I just don't know.....

lol I've made a couple other posts... I finally am not getting d/c'ed from the board every five minutes so it makes it alot easier to read and post :P And you are a bum because um... um.. you could put a bowl out in the lap of a scarecrow, with a sign that says "please take one"
Kids always listen to what signs say, and then you could get dressed up and get your self some candy like thejeni said...

Just got back from taking the kids trick or treating. It is nice to be able to take them house to house now that we live in a smaller town. When we lived in Tampa there were like 50 sex offenders within 2 miles. Also if I do say so myself my kids are freaking cute! My young son was Blue form Blue's clues my daughter was Cinderella and my teenage son was the black knight from the holy grail complete with a detachable arm.

I went to put on my jack skeleton costume (which is great complete with a giant head) only to find out that I have gained more weight than I thought this year. So I just threw on one of my horror movie t-shirts and went as Lame Dad. I guess I need to work on something new for next year.

my youngest kids are only 3 and 4 so i had to go to the door with them. my son kept trying to go into peoples houses and my daughter kept yelling MY NAME IS ODYSSEY AND I AM CINDERELLA!!!! so maybe embarassed lame dad would have been a more appropriate moniker.

Do you all have pictures of you in your costumes. I am amazed at the detail that some people have for their halloween costumes. I also went as lame dad, but I think your costume was better then mine. As for candy, I just assess the Dad tax to my kids and take some of theirs. Think of it as protection money for walking around with them.

I too assessed the dad tax and since we are in desperate economic times the tax was raised this year:) and how is it that after over 30 halloweens I still don't stop before I get a stomach ache.
