Does anyone know if they are ever planning on changing the way to get access to an SG base? Right now you HAVE to have COV and COH to get access to an SG base. I myself am not going to get COV and have no desire to own it. I am a member of an SG and will have no way to access the base or be able to enjoy any apsect of it. I am just hoping that this might change. Has anyone heard whether or not this might or will change in the future. Please don't think I am whiner or anything like that. But this is a very cool feature to COH and it just stinks that I will never get access to this feature if they do not change it.

Don't have any definitive answer, but I had been wondering if somewhere down the road CoV might be offered in a trial format, and if so if those with just CoH could use it. Of course I realize this doesn't help you now, and it would probably be quite some time before they started giving out freebees. It did enter my mind though as I saw a mess of Bootleg Editions in Best Buy, and I never had to pay for CoH, just ran off of the buddy version of the game.
(from another angle, I've seen mentions of "if you own just CoV"...but really, can't anyone with CoV pick up the bootleg edition of CoH and have both?)

I haven't read anything personally, but If I had to guess I would think they won't for quite a while. It's somewhat a key feature for them to bank on to attract more customers right now.However, There's always a chance that later on when the game price drops to around 20 bucks that they'll make the feature final in CoH. Course it's all business and speculation right now.

I think you'll eventually be able to download it but by then I7 and probably I8 will come out and PvE will be ENTIRELY PHASED OUT and only 12 year olds with scrappers that have no friends and hate the world will play so they can kill people.

It's already becoming a reality. I mean look at how they're ramming PvP down our throats and making PvE harder. And I'm meeting more and more little kids that take their misguided anger out of video games.

I don't know about Ramming PvP down our throats. I see it as a new option to the game for those who like that aspect. Myself, I like a little friendly competition with friends in the Arena or now in the new zones. However, that's a to each their own sort of thing.
As for PvE becoming harder, I agree with you there. It indeed has become harder... especially for those who love to run solo consistantly. It's come to the point where successful soloers on higher difficulties are only Scrappers, Tanks, and to a degree Blasters. I run my scrapper on invincible and I can still clear out my missions. Granted I have to take rests and hit the inspirations a bit to often for my liking, I can still overcome.
As for violence in video games, that's a whole can of worms I try to avoid right now.
