| First group of Closed Beta testers have been selected |

Russell "Rusty" Williams announced today on the FlyingLabs forums that the first 20 Beta testers had been selected including their contest winner. Then Misha realized that he had forgotten to include the three fans who submitted ship designs (user content) so the number was expanded to 23. The invitations will be sent out soon, how soon we don't exactly know.
Rusty explained that the delay was first due to problems integrating with Steam. That's been worked out but there are a few issues still delaying things. Expect more news soon.
