Maybe everyone realizes that to get a long list of replies, this is the best method. Throw something out that will get the spam picture and watch the postings roll in.

Why is posting or sending something people don't want called spam?

Which brings up a point... I hate to be critical, but everytime someone posts Spam, do we really need a long, congratulatory thread? Can't staff just delete it and ban the spammer if necessary?

It is kind of like the stockades of yester-year. The offending party is put out on display as an example, and the rest of us come by to see and give our thoughts.

Edit: A second idea is the scarlet letter "S" on there profile for spammer.

He was promoting some commercial website. He was definately not giving out anything. Promoting for your SG is not spamming. You more then welcome to do that here.
