Where is the best place to farm?

Can anyone tell me to farm a lot of money. So far i've heard to farm outside the forge or UW.

Outside of Augury, Desert Griffons, Drop good stuff. :) Yes UW is good but I find it takes a while to do one run. IT costs 1k and you might die a few times. Rarely get good drops in a time limit. outside of augury you can do run in 3-5 mins or less. But ya fast and easy way of making money.

More of a challenge, I'll have to say. Means more team work, and more use of rangers to do fast quick spike damage.

And means less farming.

My favorite place to farm is FoW (but thats cause i normally go with my guild.. fun stuff) I dont farm all that much, so the update doesn't really effect me, and i can't really tell you the good spots to farm (good meaning lots of drops). I find SF pretty boring to, i mostly 'farm' to hang with my guild

O well i guess thats me finished, my counter strike source clan was losing members fast due 2 a few of us playing this but guess now anet has just saved our clan, for that only i thank u anet, cya guys in episode 2!

Basically when using skills like balthazars aura and wrath + elements nuker spells griffons and all other enemies just run away so u cant dmg them the same + u cant group large groups as the ai has also been improved so that if u keep running from them to build up a group to farm they start 2 flee, anyways am i saying im finished.

it's still possible to farm griffons, but takes an hour (ok it takes about the double of the amout of time it used to be) and I almost agree with the guy who say he's back at CS, I'm now REALLY tempted in WoW since I got a good job now... plz Anet do something cuz ur gonna lose a LOT of players now.

I would say the best place to farm is think of a high end drop area that is "not" been talked about here and farm there.

In doing this your drops may/maybe not, changed by the amount of people farming the talked about areas.

Top end areas not covered may give better drops as "some" in mission farming too can give ok returns. One of the "new" areas (hint, hint) can get a party share of 3k gold and chance of some good drops.

I worked on farming the griffins last night, just to see how it was. Yes it will take longer, but I wonder if they did anything with the drop ratio etc ... I got two dyes off of half a run. I dunno. Also, I found it just more stressfull to farm them, not harder, it just takes a little more concentration. I wonder if they did anything with the power lvling, caus if they made that harder, im gona be mad. Ohh well :/ we'll see what happens

once again, its not really harder to farm the griffins. just takes a little more time, but I have a feeling it can still be as rewarding. (I will have to do some more runs to see if I still think they changed up the drop ratio etc)

so basically, people are upset because they just got owned by so-so AI? AHAHAHAAH...that is funny. As someone who hasn't farmed in ages, and rarely did to begin with, I find this very amusing. In most games people enjoy more intelligent/challenging AI, just goes to say something about the caliber of the people upset IMHO.

What skills do you use for a W/Mo and what do u set your attributes at to farm desert griffies. I have been trying for a while but cant seem to do it anymore since the B'aura update. Can i get any advice from anyone?

Hmmm, I heard someone say that they tried to farm an area for a certain, lengthy amount of time non-stop. It gave them a message that the enemies had ran out of items and gold and that they should go somewhere else.

I guess farming is harmless and an important aspect of the game, but it seems Arena Net wants people to play through the game more than farm.

If the AI was borked and people were able to kill difficult MOB's easily without risk to themselves - then that's an issue that needs to be addressed. It was clearly unbalanced. My suggestion to anybody that finds this sort of thing in the future - don't shout about it, don't use it all the time, don't tell anybody about it. Thus the effects are twofold:-

The Economy doesn't get screwed up because everyone and his best mate of X profession are earning 60 platinum an hour at X farming spot.
It won't be percieved as a major imbalance and therefore won't be a high priority to ' fix '.

Since the update farming is harder yes
Running is Easier
Just do the Droks run
I did 4 runs yesterday and made 40k

errrm not played since the update (been too busy with that essay and then drinkin afterwards), what have they changed on the ele? as this is my fav char class and i've been tryin to work out some builds for it for a while.
