| best place to find dyes in pre |

|
anyone know were the best place in pre to find dye is? i have a character in pre and I might just make him very usefull if i can find lots of dyes. So, were is the best place?

I would usually try the labyrinth, myself. Those caves seem to be mighty full of dyes, but I might just be imagining it.

lol yeah i constantly find loads of dye in there (catacombs) but then again it could all just be luck.

I find alot of dyes at the Barradin Estate entrance to the catacombs, were the gargoyles are :)

iv found back dye(s) at the bandit camp (the Bandit Raind quest).

O.K m8t take this from experiance the places that dye is droped is COMPLETLY RANDOM i should know m8t coz bye the time i left pre i had 70 odd dyes and 2 of them were black...the best ider i had was to offer people a run to somewere but insted of charging money ask if u can have any dye that is droped on the way

Dye drops are indeed random, but for some reason I have found that the scales outside fort ranik have a nice dye dropping rate, I got most of mine there, plus 4 silvers.

First i have to say that there is a really nice way of farming with a monk just outside Ashford Abbey. You need the Bandit Raid quest to do it. Go from Ashford and follow the quest signs. Smite the Bandit down and maptravel back to the town. I found about 40 dyes in one day, 3 was black.The best thing with this is that you dont need to be lvl 10+, like when Charr farming. I use Healing Breeze, Orizon of Healing, Retribution and Symbol of Wrath.

In my case I've probably gotten more dye from bandits of various sorts than any other enemy type. That's just an observation, not a definitive statement.

I've been doing this and found that you don't need to have the quest Bandit Raid, but if you do there are more enimes. Thanks for the tip it's really helping me find dyes
