What is your favourite mission so far and why?

For me, as I'm kicking this one off, it has to be the steal the outbreak plague from the Lost.

I solo'd it with Thug and it was ok, the sewers really clashed with my hair tho LOL.

Getting to deliver it to Paragon and beat the heck out of Longbow agents (as you can see from my screenshot of the agent up a tree) was just XP heaven.

I cleared the map before stashing the plague and ending - oh did I mention its a badge mission too?

I did it with a member of my SG Today, twice the fun, huge mobs of longbow and I levelled from 13 to 14 doing both parts.

He managed to level from 12 to 13 so we both ended up well pleased. Its a mission that's probably going to be like frostfire for me. Love taking part just for beating up on longbow and the XP is great, even if finding the cannisters to stash stuff takes 20 minutes to find em all!!!

So far that's been my fav, so lets hear from everyone what you think is your fav so far and if you got tips on them, sling em in too, we can all learn the best missions and best ways to do em this way!

I really liked the Outbreak mission as well.

Another one I liked a lot was one that I got today from a contact in Cap au Diable. Rescue Olivia Darkk (or something like that). She's a "pet" with some dark powers. The cool thing about it was, it was an outdoor instanced mission but she had already been transported to Paragon City, so you hop a truck and sneak into a section of Skyway (the area near Vitaly Cherenko in the Land of the Lost). There's nothing spawned there except the Longbow guys that you fight, but it's really cool being in Skyway City with your Villain. :)

I agree, I had the Olivia Dark mission last night too. I just felt weird to be in Skyway with my stalker. It made me want to go do some bad. My favorite ones are the bank robberies though. I really feel like a true villain when I'm stealing money and killing 8 dollar an hour rent-a-cops.

I would agree with the plague carrier mish (at least at my low levels). If you have a full team the XP is incredible!

I recieved a 2 part mission from Marshall Brass last night that was totally kicking. First part was "Stal Jet Pack..." and waht you do is steal this jet pack from the very cool looking Goldbrickers. After you steal it and exit the mission, you have this jet pack that you can use to fly around with...not using any endurance. You only have 90 minutes to deliver it to the doctor which is in the 2nd part of the mission. 2 teammates of mine and I ended up fighting 2 Boomers (bosses), 1 guy called The Torch (boss) and a bunch of Lt's and minions to save the doctor...and they were all on the doctor. Totally kicking mission, and by far the funnest one I have had.

I have enjoyed both of the missions back into the "nice" neighborhood I used to hang out as a hero in. The smashing of Longbow agents really does bring out the inner villian in you.

Ok...I have to ammend my choice here. I just did a story arc with Ruby Widow today. Let me start this by saying, if you get offered the "Talk to Seer Marino" story arc, TAKE IT! It's extremely cool. The arc relates to Seer Marino's brother who was presumed killed years ago. You get to see Ghost Widow and The Wretch first hand! Very cool stuff. (You don't fight the two of them, although The Wretch does join you briefly).

Personaly i found the cape mission to be very enjoyable. I always wanted to steal a cape off some 'just hit 20' hero.

Favorite missions thus far have been the "Turn Pyriss" sequence in Cap Au Diable (from Peter Themari) and the Olivia Dark mission that takes you to Skyway City. My early favorite was the bank robbing mission... until I wound up repeating it continuously for broker missions.

Yeah, the Pyriss mini-arc is pretty cool. It's kinda neat as far as making a good hero go bad. Although the final mission, where you find her in the caves, was bugged for me. I got her to the exit, I got my mission complete bonus, but it never came up and said mission complete. When I LEFT the map (after fighting a whole bunch of ambush spawns) the compass sent me to the contact as if the mission HAD completed. So it DID complete, it just didn't tell me it did.

Got to agree with RonJ, the *Talk to Seer Marino" has been the neatest arch I've done yet. You get a great history lesson about Ghost Widow & Wretch that even leaves you sympathizing with them & their kinky little love story. It was great. Also give the Olivia Dark mish high marks altough it became the first mish that I failed, (got killed right at the end by the hero, her & Olivia had a great battle right over my body, tried to rez, but was imediatly killed again so all I could do was watch helplessly as Olivia got taken down), great fun though.

I just started playing CoV(CoH fa life baaby!!) but i got a cool mish. It was "take advatage of Mook robbery." It wasnt an exceptionally fun mish, it was just a cool concept.

All of those missions are cool and ar eon my list, but my favourite so far is the Break into the Zig mission. You meet back up with Jenkins, that idiot soldier from the tutorial, who usually gets slaughtered, then you get three cool allies: a tanker and two blasters.

This missions is incredibly hard simply because of how many Longbow come charging at you. I think it compensates for the three extra "teammates" you get. But it's still alot of fun.

I had SO much fun with the Zig mission. I'm a mastermind with 4 pets of my own, then add in Jenkins and the 3 prisoners that you break out. I had 8 "pets" wandering around with me. I was DECIMATING the Longbow guards...and I HATE fighting Longbow agents because they resist Lethal and that's all the damage I do.

I will amend my selection since I have played a bit more, last night I played a mission named "defeat all arachnos in base" and it was great. this was the first time I fought the mu villains and those guys are tough. the mission took us amost an hour and I gained over half a level. with all the red lightning and teamates powers this mission really pushed my computer to its limits. overall not the coolest mission concept but a super fun time.
