HOW DO ONE BEATS HIS/HER MIRRIOR FOR MONKS??

I have been searching the fourms for tips to how to killed it but all were useless.The zealots fire and divine boom didn't work,the holy warth and retribution didn't work too!!
All i now is..the mirrior does not heal itself with healing brezze.CAN anyone help me here? Pretty please?

I'm Monk/warrior..

Just bring some enchantment spells that cause -1 degen to your energy, but don't use em. then, using whatever weapon for warrior class you choose, kill him. But use energy consuming attacks, if done right, he will drain all his energy by himself, and use only one or two attacks on you, then he's finished. This is the way i did it, and i killed him in under 20 seconds.

Hi forget monk skills. Go all warrior, put attributepoints in swords. Equip Frenzy, sever artery, gash and final thrust. Let your Dopple use Frenzy, while you don't. It will kill himself with Frenzy, you sever his artery, gash and when his health is lower then 50% you final thrust him. The other 4 slots in skillbar remain empty. Worked everytime for me. And you will get the 50k XP for sure with this build.

The easiest way is to max out on Smiting Prayers and Healing.
Then bring Retribution and Healing Breeze, the only healing spell he won't use himself.

Then just let him kill himself shooting you.

I equiped my smite bar and used that. Got the bonus too. Just use Symbol of wrath, Smite, Banish, possibly Balthazars spirit or aura.. whichever one does the damage over time. Other than that I don't know what else works.

I got ascended on lvl 16 with my mo/e

i only took fireball which he did -7 on me and i did -80

it muight be a fixed bug this was 2weeks ago

Only 3 skills are needed <<< take only these 3 nothing else on your bar...
Split all attribs to healing and smite only.

Bane signet, Banish and Healing Breeze...

Just before you go into your mirror cast healing breeze and skip the intro. Breeze will still be working.

1st Use Bane signet to knock him down and interupt.
Use Banish
Spam healing breeze when available.

Just keep repeating process

He dies in 30 seconds.

I don't know how much damage you are taking in there but since you do have a warrior as a sub component. you can try just bringing frenzy and let him use it and you will do double damage to him.. thats how I beat it as a warrior.. and for the monk aye smiting is the way to go..

I have had mixed feelings for healing breeze my dopple uses it.. if you bring divine boon and zealots fire you can heal your self and do dmamge at the same time. the dopple wont cast boon but once so you would be safe from him using that skill to heal him self.. also bring along a warrior defense move to help you dodge and since your not goin to be attacking his will be wasted.. like bonneties maybe 1-2 of them..

i did it with healing breeze and smite yuo put healing breeze on when you get to about 50%health then slam him with smite and keep on doing this

Might I suggest you take a look at my post up top? It's a common strategy for every Warrior (regardless first or second prof). Garanteed succes. You will waste your dopple in seconds. Good luck and let us know how you did. :)

A warrior can beat his doppleganger with only 1 skill.

Just put frenzy on your bar.
He uses it , you don't. You win.

No need to go out and look for other skills

Im not sure on a monk on how to do it, but with my nec/elm I beat my doppleganger on the second try. And with my elm/nec I beat it on the first try within seconds of starting.
Seeing how it carries the same skills I do. I packed meteor shower and fire storm, both cause her to drained her energy nicely and I could move out of there feild of damage onece she cast them.
Then I hite her with life shyphan, droped a few rocks on her head, and pelt her with fire balls.
She was toast. :)

My guess is you need better armor
Or you may be a lower lvl and dont have enough attribs to be effective

Why don't you try running up to the doppleganger to make him switch to his axe? It might do less damage for you.

His arrwos strike me for 80+ damage,axe for 100+ damage!!

Anyways...i had been to Forge.So i went to Ice CAves Of Sorrow..I actually don't need to fight my mirrior but i m level 17 only. The problem is.The adreline takes time to load..and by then the mirrior might have killed me! I understand that some of u guys r trying to help.But i guess i would skip this part and finish the missions.From ice caves to Hell perciple.

This is how i beat him with my monk and i did it in under 50 seconds 4skills Surge Healing,Orsion Of Healing,Healing Touch,Healing Breeze. Maxed out my Stats in smite some in divine rest in healing, Right after cutscene Though Surge Healing on him wand him and when he heals him self he kills him self each him and he does though Surge healing on u but Just keep though Healing breeze on your self every now and then to help keep your health up

the way u need to do it that works with all the proffesions is bring a lot of self sacrificing skills and dont use them but the dopp will. also if u have useless skills ex. ranger spirits like edge of extinction then use those

Well the way I did it was to if you are a prof combo with at least an interrupt skill that is instant and a healing spell that isnt, then bring only those 2 skills, attack him like normal, heal hen needed and interrupt his heals. 100% win ratio on 4 chars. Good luck.

When I faced my doppleganger I was a Mo/Me.

So I maxed (evenly) my smite, domination and inspriration attributes.

Cast in this order:
Empathy
Backfire
Conjure Phantasm
Banish
Smite (when he was attacking)

Lather, rinse, and repeat. Fill the other skill slots with long casting skills/spells that are of no consequence.

I brought healing breeze, balthazar's aura, banish, bane signet, symbol of wrath and some other smite skills I don't remember . Maxed out in smite and just ran straight up to him
and unloaded all my smites one after the other on him. After that he was 90% deal and a couple shots from my staff killed him. Took me no more than 20 seconds I think.

I recently acsended as Monk/Necro as Lani suggested - equip healing breeze and retribution, max out smiting and healing. Don't equip any other skills in your skill bar. Hit retribution just before you go in so that its up and running then just attack with your weapon and use healing breeze to keep yourself alive, dont know why the dopp' doesn't use it but mine didnt and he died attacking me. Did it within the time limit to get the bonus too.

I found none of the guides I read to work for me at lvl 16 so tried some things until I succeeded and this is how I did it:

I distributes my points evenly over Healing Prayers and Smiting Prayers and used the following skills:
Bane Signet
Banish
Holy Strike
Holy Wrath
Healing Breeze
Retribution
Pacifism

Before going into the cutscene cast Retribution, now proceed to the fight.
First cast Holy Wrath and then Healing Breeze straight away as he'll already start hitting you.
Run up to him and use Bane Signet -> Holy Strike, Bane Signet will damage and knock him down and Holy Strike does extra damage when he's knocked down.
Then use Banish and start running from him to evade being hit by the axe he'll have pulled out by now.
Keep your Healing Breeze on all the time and should you almost die use Pacifism, it makes him unable to attack for 8 seconds without any point in Protection Prayers.
Now just keep running and hitting him when the skills are recharged everytime with Banish and Holy Strike, Holy Strike whenever possible in combination with Bane Signet first.
He will not use Healing Breeze and Pacifism is no use to him, it's effect ends if the targets takes attack damage and he'll keep attacking all the time.

I still got the bonus (beating him in under 50 seconds) way easily using this tactic.
