When I went to the DnL site to sign up I created my account successfuly. However, when I went to make a reply in the forums it would not let me. It said my account may not be activated, ect. Did I miss something here. I did not receive and activation email as you do with most sites. But I have no trouble logging in on the site. Help please!!!!

You ought to have received a sign up confirmation, and you do need that to confirm that before you can fully access the forums. Fortunately I still had mine, and it had a nifty link that will help you out. Please go to http://www.darkandlight.net/forums/register.php?a=ver.

Still didn't work. Have not received confirmation email. Any other ideas? Keeps saying email was sent, but never receive it.

Looks like the problem is on DnL's site. Croake seems to be having exactly the same problem here. Maybe their forum registration server is overloaded. Give it a day or two, and maybe a belated email will come your way. Alternatively you could try to register with a different name and/or email address. I know it is not the best advice, but it is all I can give.
(O boy, am I good at copy and paste, or what?)

It is kind of worrying if something simple as an automated email confirmation takes 2 days and 10 tries. How bad will the in-game support be?

I don't believe the notification process has any bearing on the in game support. I've had this problem with certification at other forum sites. May be their server or it could just be a glitch in the system, theirs or possibly mine. BTW, I still can't get the email from the SWG system for verification and I've been playing there for the last year and a half. But, no more. Accounts canceled, expires tomorrow. Again, thanks for the help. Hope we meet in game.

I agree. So many things can come up that it would be wrong to say it would determine how the support will be in the game. I know that the internet does some funky things some times, and it could be from any number of things gone wrong.
Figure can't judge what the in game support will be until we get to test it out.

ok im having basically the same problem..i registerd and got a email but there werent any codes in it..and when i attempt to log into the actual site it tells me im invalid..im so lost..any help would be great
please dont beat me with the nerf bat..soe did it enough

That registration is a bit weird. I still don't get what it was for exactly. Because the name you registered there is different from the one you use to log on the DnL site. You have to register there as well, I guess. I think it was a scam by them to see how many people are interested in the game. It does set up your forum handle when the new forum get up, but that is no big deal.
