Yes the Update was some what a few days ago but i want to tell you all why i love it.
I relied on Griffin farming for my gold . Same thing every time go in get out 1k+ in my storage.
I has reading a post today about 'how to get gold' when troll farming occured during the post. I was bored and in need of some wood anyway so i thought i try it out.I sorted out my build that i choose mainly from my griffin farming using
1.Mending,
2.Liv Vica,
3.Healing Breeze,
4.Vig Spirit,
5.Cyclone Axe,
6.Bonnties,
7.Balthazars Aura
8.and Shield of Judgment
Well i went out casting my enhancments and trotted up to the troll cave. It was my first time tonight and i wanted to see how the drops where. Anyway I got all the trolls to surroned me and i cast Vig Spirit , Then Cyclone and fianlly Bonntis for Energy Regen. Straight after i used SoJ and they got knocked down but while they are getting knocked down i casteded Balthazars Aura. Ahhhh I looked on my screen to find alot of number on my screen. I also found out that I ran low on health sometimes [because they use disrupting chop] so the good thing is they run away for about 3 seconds which gives you a chance to use healing breeze and vig spirit. After 10 mins i was enjoying this smiting and flinging my axe into there faces. Then they all started to drop. Most of them gave Ravens Staffs [ which was also said they would drop in the 'how to get gold' post.
I expert salavged and got about 40 planks of wood in 1 run. Id say thats not bad. i was really chuffed to find i got a black dye also.
So im glad someone mentioned the Troll farming because it was a new exp to me :P
[You also get the odd gold weapon.]

I like the build because now i don't have to hear "Pick me! Pick me! I'm a nuker! i pulled my build off the internet which makes me the greatest player in the game!! YAAY! you have to take me because you can't survive without a nuker!" etc. And now air and earth eles can actually go on missions becasue they are just as effective if not more effective that the nukers and whatnot. Also i don't have to hear "lose the Mesmer and the Ranger NOW!! and take a nuker" from some little boy who thinks he is the master of GW because he pulled his build off of the internet.
Sorry about the rant but it had to be said...

Totally agree. People are willing to accept spiteful and FoC necros as well now. No longer is the necro relegated to just being a battery.

Funny thing is that the three so called unloved classes are the ones I find hard doing without. Having a necro in party for alot more than "Blood Ritual" and having our mesmers shut them down before they shut us down is a darn good idea.
The above build seems solid as many new tactics taken into the build. With a little thought I can see the above build going well in most areas as long as no mesmers are there.
Mesmer, Ranger, Necro skills are the enemy of the solo farmer

I agree. People can accually use something other than fire in PvE and not be shunned by everyone. Maybe water magic will have a chance after all. ;) I think a good amount of varity in groups will come out of this.
However, I am starting to see a lot of we dont want any AoE in our group kind of thing going on now at least from what I have seen.

From Droks , You go kind of North untill you reach the Avicar. There folow the pathway up untill you see some trolls.
