Yay! I made it. I am one of the 8881! It cost me a lot of pay and patience, but I got through! At least I will be a meaningful staff member of the site now :)

I made it too, with over 6 hours of time and enough patience to test Job. I got my ticket!!!!
Btw, Firefox browser is the way to go to make the preorder go easier and a whole lot faster.

ok ok i have a serious question because i am so lost and completely new here..i read about the preorder keys but i thought the game was free and didnt open up sign ups till dec..can someone please explain what this is and what is going on do i have to pay 59.99 to play this game or is this something different?
please dont beat me with the nerf bat..soe did it enough

Serious answer. You have to have a preorder key in order to play SoG which will be available for download on Dec. 8th. The preorder is for DnL but allows you to play SoG for free untill DnL is released. To get a preorder you have to set up an account with ClickandBuy as that is the only way to pay for it. You also have to have a DnL forums membership to access the preorder site. All is explained on the Dark and Light web site forums. Good luck!!
Btw, SOE nerffed me also, so I nerffed SOE/SWG.

You don't have to pre-order. There are two ways to get to play SoG for free. 1) by pre-ordering the game and pay $59.99 now. There were/are 8881 spots open that way. 2) Wait till Dec 8th, and try to get of the 10,000 free SoG keys. Since there are already that many people eager to pay the 59,99, I think it will be even more crazy when they start giving out the free keys.

Great to hear you got in too. Did more folks from your guild got in? At least that way you can rule the land with a guild from the start.

nope i'm the only one from FEW (guild) that got in
most are playing CoV on freedom server or WoW on silverhand
i'm the ginny pig to see if game will be worth the money i guess haha many of my guild are worried about DnL because of the time they have been extending could go 2 ways realy
1. they are making a great game
2. they have no idea what there doing
i did read there will not be any Wanted in SoG
and how little land we will be playing in....it just they been in beta for a very long time imo (2+yrs) and still lots they need to finish.....scary
not that i'm not excited to get into the world because i am
i just hope it's not another Horizons i had so looked forward to that game till NDA was lifted and as i read all the forums on it it seemed to not come out good and even now i read the server stability is a big issue
