I just bought a set of platemail for my warrior/monk. (I actually fought my way there, you know the way it was supposed to be reached. With all of my characters. Imagine that.) Anyway, I was wondering who dyed their platemail, what color did u dye it, can u post a screenshot to show what it looks like.

if you just use dye remover on it, it should turn out a nice shade of gold. That's what I did. If you need a pic, lemme know, otherwise I don't think a pic would really help that much.

I dyed my platemale green/yellow as an experiment, I happen to like the outcome of it. Here is a pic of it.

Mine is currently half way through a make-over. The reddish colour is Red+Purple.
The goldy rust colour is Orange+Green. It's not quite rusty enough though. Perhaps a Black added to the mix would help :D
Either way that rustier colour is what i'm going for. I know it's not all Platemail. But then Stonefist Guantlets only come in that look.

I originally had the knight's armor. I dyed it orange and it turned out a nice bronze/copper look.

Hmm Once Upon A time I had Green Platemail (as seen below)
But now im like 3 quaters of the way through of getting my cool bluish color ( blue + Green Dye ) Dragon Armour ^^.

I would go with orange/green. It looks great on all warrior armors.

Here is my Warrior with Wyvern Cuirass(same stats as plate). Plate Gloves and legs, and knights boots. All dyed black. He did have Plate Chest too, but i wanted his armor to be as dark as possible and i personally like the look of black Wyvern armor:

Orange + Green FTW (combine them then throw it on)
I'm not sure but I bet Orange/Green/Black would look even better. Then again it might be fugly as hell.

Yeah, it's not the Pale Yellow with Dye Remover, or the shiny Gold - It's more of a Dull Gold / Bronze... but it still shines!

I say, save your money for 15k platemail. It looks soooo much nicer. Something about that pig head on the chest piece and the dull coloring of the Drok's platemail doesn't impress me.
As far as the color goes, I dyed my 15k orange+green as well. It gave it a nice dark gold color. I later changed it to blue/green+blue which came out in a really cool teal color.
I'd save for 15k lol
