Pickup groups.
I have a rant. When you are advertising for a GLF, how can people come up with the idea that you are a noob when you try to join their group? Every pickup group isnt going to work well. Some people arent as experienced as others. They only way you become experienced is when you play more(what a concept).
So I saw someone advertising very simply, GLF one mm and one stance tank. I attempted to join the group. Seconds went by and the leader didn't accept. Usually if they don't accept within 10-15 seconds then I bounce. So about 20 secs past, and the leader says..GLF one stance tank. Yet, I'm still awaiting acception into the group.
I decide to see what happens whether finally accept or reject, but nothing. About a minute goes by, then the leader comes over to me and checks me out I guess...then goes back to the group and still doesnt accept. They then advertise...GLF one stance Tank!! NO NOOBS!!!.
So, I'm think how can this person assume that I don't know what I'm doing. (I have about 125 or so SF farm runs) I know other people have plenty more..but I know what I'm doing.
Anyhow, no other tanks are in the district and they still advertise, but yet dont accept me. Finally, that person accepts and starts quizzing me on the Fa farm and what a stance tank does and blah blah blah.
I finally told them to either kick me or find out whether I know what I'm doing. They didnt kick me and it turns out that the person who was advertising and being stuck up....was the monk who was leading into battle as if he/she was a tank??????? What the heck is that about???

That's the kind of player who thinks they've mastered all of Guild Wars. LOL. A monk leading to battle is not very intelligent, unless he was a Smiting Monk, but I being a smiting monk don't always lead to battle, to risky I guess.
