What about power pools?

I noticed in the CoV powers section there isnt a power pool section like in the CoH forums...are they the same as in CoH or???

The fighting madness of his race was upon him, and with a red mist of unreasoning fury wavering before his blazing eyes, he cleft skulls, smashed breasts, severed limbs, ripped out entrails, and littered the deck like a shambles with a ghastly harvest of brains and blood.

Re: What about power pools?

the pools are the same but some of the numbers may be different. I know the leadership numbers are different. Villains seem to get a big buff from these powers compared to heroes.

Re: What about power pools?

Leadership numbers change with the AT. For example, in CoH, controllers and defenders give a really nice buff when they use the leadership pool, however, blasters and scrappers give almost no buff when they use them. I think it works the same in CoV. Masterminds and Corrupters probably give bigger buffs than Brutes and Stalkers. I don't have exact numbers, though.

City of Heroes/Villains
Onion - L50 - Katana/Super Reflexes/Body Mastery Scrapper
Scotch Bonnet Girl - L50 - Fire Aura/Fire Melee/Pyre Mastery Tanker
RonJ73 - L50 - Stone/Energy Aura Brute
Aurora Australis - L50 - Willpower/Energy Melee Tanker

Re: What about power pools?

Can anyone tell me what power pool is good for Stalkers? I never used any of them for anything other than travel powers. Are there any that are worth getting, or should I stick to my primary and secondary powers?

Embrace Death...then choke the $h!t out of him.

Re: What about power pools?

here is the link for the exact numbers on leadership http://www.gameamp.com/forum/showTopic/17093.php

as far as a stalker I would recomend leadership in fact I think everyone should get leadership ( at least assault and tactics). for a stalker I would get assault for the 10% damage increase which can give you the extra you need to one hit your assasin strike and tactics gives you an accuracy boost so that the stike doesn't miss.

if more people get these then teams can become unstoppable. I was on a full team the other day with my corrupter. another corrupter and myself both had tactics for a 30% damage boost for everyone. we breezed through everything. everything was orange or higher and didn't stand a chance. we only had 1 maybe 2 deaths in over an hour.

Re: What about power pools?

Is there info yet on where to get all the different enhancements?

Re: What about power pools?

Our focus right now is on Badges. We're trying to get that section as complete as possible before we focus our attentions elsewhere.

If you're in the game and pull up the map, you can tell just by mousing over each store icon. Each store will have either "Mutant Quartermaster", "Tech Quartermaster", etc, etc. Down the road, we'll probably include each of the quartermasters and their locations in the "Contacts" section.
