INMATES OF GAMEAMP ASYLUM SUPERVILLIAN GROUP
After many staff related discussions, it has finally been decided how the rankings in the VG will be decided upon and rewarded. This Villain Group will be EXCLUSIVELY FOR REGISTERED GAMEAMP.COM MEMBERS. This VG is based on the Triumph server in the United States, and soon to come overseas to the UK people. Below is something Grifter0408 asked to be a part of the decision-making processes of whom gets promoted in the VG. Also, below his quote, is the VG Guide on decisions for promotion. We also ask THAT YOU DO NOT ASK TO BE PROMOTED. Promotion is up to the staff members at all times, and will be voted upon (in the staff forums) and earned by members.

I was thinking on the lines of site activity, credibility, and whether or not we like them! (kidding)
I don’t want this to become a status thing where members get to other top with thought of power. Make gradual approvals 2-3 move ups every so many weeks. For instance approve 2-3 people to lowest rank. A few weeks later if they are doing good then bump them a rank. Then after that rise 2 more to the lowest level till we eventually have 2-3 per level (except staff). I don’t want in game level to matter because not everyone can be 40 in two weeks. |

Promotion will be based upon many things such as your IN-SITE CREDIBILITY LEVELS, TRUSTWORTHINESS, and FORUM ACTIVITY.
Gain some credibility by submitting guides, tips, screenshots, etc. Trust is earned in forums as in real life, and the best way to gain it is by forum posting (to show us what kind of person you are) and playing with other VG member’s in game.
Level 1-5__________Inmate
Level 6-10_________Enforcer
Level 11-15________Taskmaster
Level 16-20________Ringleader
The in-site credibility is not an automatic promotion in the SG, but it is taken into consideration with other factors.
ALL PROMOTIONS WILL BE DISCUSSED ON THE STAFF FORUMS FOR MAXIMUM NON-MEMBER INFLUENCED DECISIONS
The Leader Rank is reserved for the Staff Members of the site at all times.
END DISCUSSION
Without further ado our first promotion pick, Protusion, will be promoted to Captain (Middle Rank) in the VG. The character toon that he plays is Toxic Summoner. Here are the reasons for voting him as a Captain (Middle Rank) in the VG:
- He is considerate and has good answers
- He is not rash and knows what he is doing
- He has been around for some while
- He is active in the SG and on site
So congratulations Protusion for a villainous job well done. We hope you all understand the staff reasoning behind the voting process, and enjoy your stay in the asylum. The easiest is to join the public global gameamp.com channel. To join the gameamp.com channel, right click in your friends window, and select "join channel". Then enter gameamp.com, and you are in. Now right click in the chat window and select "edit tab". In the popup add gameamp.com to your active channels. Now that when you have joined that channel give a shout, and one of the leader will invite you.

I will take the responsibility for the European servers Inmates SVG as soon as I get a second toon to 10th.
It'll run on the DEFIANT Server and I'll post more details ASAP once I hit 10th.

I have no problems with the promotion criteria, heck, I actually never get caught up with the whole promotion, give me a rank issue. If I want a high title in a SG/VG, I start my own...and no one would be higher than me....King of My Castle, Lord of my Domain!
I'm almost to the point where I can start running multiple alts at one time (wanted to get my **cough**main up some levels first) and I think I have a villian on Triumph I made when my main server was down. If it is truly there, I'll look up a staffer for a group invite. My ingame global is @X L and i've already joined the gameamp.com chat channel.

Looks like I need to create yet another alt, one for the Triumph server, cuz if the SV Group is gonna be anything like this site is (a great resource for all things CoV!!) then I need to hook up with you guys!
Hopefully I will be found worthy among the other vilains... perhaps if I leave them alive long enough, it might help... *heh*

OK, so who is in charge of building the base now? I have a ton of salvage and I have used the workbenches to convert as much of it as I can into components. I have enouogh components to build a few useful base items, but I don't want to build something we don't need or want. Who do I talk to about that?

I can volenteer to help in all base creation aspects as soon as the hoildays have past. im really busy between school, work, and college apps right now so i dont have much time for CoV, after the holidays pass i imagine hours at work going down to normal and CoV/H hours going up above 0

sounds good to me. I really like princess crucifer so I will be playing in the VG more now.
to anyone that hasn't joined yet you should playing with these people is a very good experience. even though I have been playing 8 months they teach me stuff almost everytime I team with them.

I joined the SG a couple days ago and havent had the luck to be on when anyone else has. do you guys play at certain times I am on the east coast. I think it would be fun to play with my fellow game ampers but I just havent had any luck getting on when anyone else is?

Yes, definately do as Rainah suggest. Join the gameamp.com channel. No invite needed. Just right click in your friends window, select add channel -> gameamp.com. Then right click in the chat window, select edit tab -> add gameamp.com
I am usually around from 3pm - 8pm EST daily, but not always with my inmate toon. Just shout on the gameamp channel and we will come out of the woodwork. It is always fun to team with fellow Ampers.
Also give a shout on the coalition channel. A couple of Triumph VG's have made a coalition with the inmates. All these linked VG's are also run by Ampers. So plenty of teamwork to go around.

hey VV, what level is your toon now? I know I haven't had the Leech out in a while, i've been consumed and bedazzled by my MM. My evening schedule is a little hectic (Tues and Thurs are limited if i'm on at all, M-W I'm on from about 4-7 cst and the weekends I'm on as much as possible throughout the day and night). The Leech is currently lvl 12 and I need to get him moving on up again.

I would like to say that I finally joined the VG last night with my Corruptor, Damien Murk. Fire/Dark Miasma..
Seems Rain of Fire combined with Tarpatch and a fireball drop about 3/4 of a group of white/yellow minions. I hope to try and get him up in level pretty quickly so I can join everyone in better missions. He's only lvl 6, almost 7 after 1 night of playing. I will be looking forward to joining anyone on my quest for 40...heh, maybe 50 by the time I'm 40...who knows, anyways...Thanks for the invite again!

Welcome to the gang DavyW. I hope you will sparkle the VG a bit, because it seems to be very quiet lately. I know we all have alts, and I am just as quilty. But it seems the group is not so active anymore. What I was thinking to motivate everybody again to play their inmates is to organize inmate days. Wednesday sounds like a peachy day for this. It is a pity we don't team together more often. I know we all love to team with each other, but the change you find a fellow inmate is not so big at the moment. Thus I hereby degree that all inmates should report for duty on wednesdays. And when I need a team :)
