im farming in sorrow furnance for about 2 weeks. Now there is some kind of new trick called "keg trick" and i allmost cant get a farm party that wouldnt use that trick, so I really wonder what keg trick is.

Well
basicly, Keg trick is very easy!!
1) u have to go farm in FA to do it (so u have to have the Final Assault quest)
2) u have to get the dwarf that carries the keg with him with u!
3) Once inside SF, let a warrior (TANK!!) carrie a keg! All the enemies will attack him and only him!! so the monks can keep him alive and the Minion master doesn't lose his fiends and can deal massive damage

Keg trick is what they call it when you get the guy called budger blackpowder or something standing right outside deldrimor war camp to follow you into SF and there the guy gives a keg to anyone that talks to him, in order to take this guy someone in your team needs the quest Final assault. The reason of doing it this way is that it goes faster to kill more bosses...well, just join a team doing keg trick farming(also called FA=Final Assault farming) and youll see.

First of all, u have to finish the game (complete all missions), then u can get the quest somewhere, but I don't know where, sry

I'm almost positive that you have to complete the quest "To Sorrows Furnace" to get it. Its the one where you have to complete all 5 guys quests to finish it.

You can do almost exactly the same thing even if you don't have the Final Assault Quest. Once inside of SF you get a tank to pick up a master gear.All the summit attack the person holding the master gear.

The "keg" trick basically works with a variety of items you have to carry:
the torches during \"Bordlis Pass\" mission
I think the Melandru Offering (bonus at \"D'Alessio Seabord\" mission)
the Scepter of Orr (available in the \"Riverside Province\" and \"Sanctum Cay\" missions)
the Vision Crystals (\"Elona Reach\" mission)
the book in Fissure of Woe (get it from the Priest of Menzies during the \"Army of Darkness\" quest)
the torch used to lighten the beacons for \"Thunderhead Keep\" mission bonus
Those are the ones I remember, there might be others...
Basically, everything one has to carry without useing weapons or staves for fighting are handy for controlled aggro. The monsters tend to only attack the charakter carrying that special item. When used right, they make the mission / quest / whatever quite easy (and also boring for your tank).

shield stance and depending on what your secondary profession is you can bring others that can block melee attacks and such (and maybe remove hex or healing breeze or maybe healing signet so you can heal yourself when you're in shield/gladiator, just in case your monk decides not to heal you, not likely to happen tho but better safe then sorry)
Not shield stance. You carry the keg/gear, so you do not carry a shield, therefore shield stance isn't working. With a decent group you don't have to do anything but maybe /dance, but all other stances can be used, maybe also dolyak signet or watch yourself.
But all you do really is stand there and do nothing at all.
Well, I used to do FA farming before the AoE update...since then, I actually do Oro farming...you get MUCH better drops on that run. The only down side, is that it takes a while to do, and its difficult to complete.
