I've got an auction going right now for a guild wars Vamp Flatbow of Marks. I know I set the starting bid at 20k which is an excellent deal to start with and a buyout of 35k. How then can someone place a 1st bid of 499g? Have they worked around the system or is there something I missed. I PM'd the bidder and asked how he managed it. Here was his/her response, "Those kind of questions will not be answered... If i win the auction... then i will pay u the 499 for the bow." adam the hobo.
I couldn't really find a place to send my question to so I thought this might be the best bet. Am I the one that's wrong? Or is someone being a cheat?

Hmm, seems to be an exploit. I just reported it to the powers that be so hopefully it won't occur again in the future.
