Bored, playing games or special secrets on the sly lol
I have taken out 3character by myself also, not saying Im good but they paniced everytime they where bleeding, poisoned or phantasmed lol. Watch the warrior panic with phantasm and empathy on was very funny.
So in my case I didnt win coz Im so uber good, more the fact that they, even at 20th lvl at Lion's arch arena had no team work and paniced alot.
So whats your story at ascalon

IWAY= 'I Will Avenge You'
The warrior strength skill that will give you 6 health regen for 10 sec for every dead ally (including pets).
The warriors will use ranger as secondary for their pets.
Warriors that are pve will have low lvl pets, so basically these are dead in no time (firestorm etc), giving the w's their health regen.

That's actually kind of big headed, we have all had our share of solo moment in the arena, like when I took down a droks armor user in ascalon 1 on 1, stalemated a 2 on 1 (other team monk and warrior), and managed to take down two warriors at once with my ranger.
Until now I've kept the gloating to myself because as soon as you do it you will get pwned. As for your build I don't think you even told us which weapon you were using. So if you take into account the amount of elites, and skills associated with a W/Mo all of the different attribute points you can spend and the way you set up your W/Mo it is very unlikely that anyone could "guess" you build.
Why wuld you want you build to be known? If people take it and start using it ou probably wont get credit it'll get a name and then you'll just be another *insert name of build here* user. I keep my builds in between myself and guildies.
Congrats on the solo in the arena good luck in future endavors.

Well said, I have the exact same views on this as you do. Sure my blood spiker can take out a whole team, who cares?! A mesmer could have owned mine just as well. I believe that keeping builds secret is the key to a good team, and how they all trust each other and work to help each other. I have a website of all my GW builds that I update for my guildies so we can keep ahead of the IWAY and MF premade builds. Again this is just my opinion though.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Keep the build secret\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\". Now, *that\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s* funny.
If you \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"own\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" me in the arena and I want to know your build here\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s how I can \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"steal\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" your little secret from ya: Target you and watch your skill casting. Two fights (max) and I know your build. So what if I lose because I am just standing there watching you cast? Hell, I can be shooting off skills and attacks while I really concentrate on watching you spam yours. Not too hard to hit 1 through 8 without taking my eyes off your skills.
Whoop-dee-doo. Big deal.

Someone has a bug in their preview function that keeps adding backslashes. Someone ought to fix that.

I was referring mostly to PvE and GvG and Tombs builds actually. Also most people don't build hunt in CA for supportive builds so I really don't worry about it. But thanks for the heads up.

yes you can see the build easily...but not only the skills are important..you also need to know when to use them...like using disrupting chop when the enemie doesn't do anything isn't very smart^^

I think that what grates people here is that good builds are a dime a dozen - as long as you observe some basic guidelines you are bound to come up with a decent one. Also, you have to understand that the whole game is just 'rock, paper, scissors' raised to the n:th degree. Build A defeats build B which defeats build C which defeats build A. This little guessing game is not terribly different from somebody saying: "We were playing rock, paper, scissors and I was losing badly, but then somehow I managed to win them all in a row. Woohoo I'm the king of the hill! Now I dare you to guess which of the three I was using.'
"Good old rock. Nothing beats that." -Bart Simpson
Speaking of warriors, I haven't so far encountered one on random arenas that would have a snowball's chance in hell against my N/Me.

ok then i will guess you build... cyclone axe, mending, retribution, frenzy, final thrust, charge, rush and sprint
axe 0
sword 0
hammer 16 (3+1)
tactics 12
strength 0
healing prayers 0
smiting prayers 0
prot prayers 6
with hammer mastery maxed out and a superior hammer mastery rune on ever peice of pre searing armor.
sounded so proud i guessed it was difficult so i will guess you had a bow equipped.
this is a top notch build i just thaught up was thinking of taking out frenzy and putting res in but meh res is useless. and replace retribution with divne boon not sure tho because divine boon is actually a maintinence spell :(
there now, its clear that im kidding around ...right?

it was a joke :) and with 16 in hammer mastery using a longbow was trying to think of a funny build.
