the maximum you can get is 200
Once ascended there is 30 more points u can to take ur standard 170 upto 200
one is in droknars forge the other is in the desert. The desert mission requires you to locate a forgotten whereas the forge missiob requires you to kill a boss

You can do the one in the desert before you ascend. If you don't know where the desert is don't bother asking about maximizing your character because you are probably not even half way done with the story line.

Oh my bad. I thought you said where is the desert.
The mission in the desert is held by a character out side of Augery Rock. Get "the forgotten ones" quest in Destinys George from Anelli Fips and it will lead you to the character with the quest. The quest for the second one is from Vayri by storage in Drok's she gives you The Hero's Journey then Hero's Challenge. Good luck.
P.S. A lot of the names are misspelled. I am not that much of a Guild Wars fanatic. :)

The two 15 attribute point quests have requisits, meaning you complete one before you get the quest.
1) From Destiny's Gorge, Annelle Fipps is a ghost that will give you the "forgotten Ones" quest. This quest takes you to a forgotten in Skyward Reach. Once you complete this quest, you can get the "Forgotten Wisdom" quest which will take you to the Arid Sea.
2) The 2nd quest which gives you the 2nd 15 attribute points, requires that you be ascended. You get this from Vanyi at Droknar's Forge. The first quest she gives you is "Hero's Journey". I dont remember if you have to complete at least one 'path' quest or not. But once you complete 'Hero's Journey', she gives you, 'Hero's Challenge' which is the actual quest that rewards the attribute points. It ends by the Copperhammer Mines.
Good Luck.
