I think I've been playing SoG more than most of the people who visit the forums but maybe some of you have explored more than I have (I've been focoused on leveling).
Does anyone have ANY IDEA where to buy and/or sell items?
My pack is nearly full of cool equipment I've looted off monsters I've killed but I can't seem to find anything that *I* can use. Being able to sell some of this stuff would be great. And then using the money to buy something I can actually use would be even better.

Wow, weird that it is not easy to find. SOunds like the basic thing any character would like to do. Or is it such an open economy that even storekeepers will be real players. Sounds like a great idea if the place is busy. Which is not the case yet. I'll explore later and post if I find something.

WOAH! Hold up there. They tried that plan in Asherons Call 2 (leaving ALL the shops and crafting to players) and that game was terrible. They need atleast some basic shops to buy and sell loot. I've got tons of fighter, monk and Shadow Knight gear, but I'm a Hunter!

I found where the traders are located. You have to go to a town called Cidd in the center of the newbie island you start on. You will know which town I'm talking about when you see it. Its the biggest town by far and has all those hot air ballons landing outside of it.
There are many NPC's in this town that just say obnoxious things to you when you try to talk to them. However in one corner of the town (opposite from the ballon landing site) there is a small bazzar with a few npcs that will have "[trader]" in their name.
They don't sell anything useful. I saw an armor dealer who sells armor that looks more impressive than the newbie armor you start with but it doesn't actually protect you. I saw a trader selling random jewelry that doesn't do anything.
I also saw one trader who was selling both dark and light crystals for 10 goth. I sold him a Dark Crystal for 7 goth.
