Enemy Information and Screenshots needed.

Hello everyone,

We are asking that everyone takes a look at our Villains page for a few good reasons. We are asking that you guys give us an able hand and start collecting information for any of the missing villains and submit them to the site.

If you see a villain we have, but it doesn't have a certain aspect like the description, then submit a screenshot of the INFO for the villain, and please type up the text in the screenshot caption area. Please title it: "Don't Approve: Villain Info, Shivian" or something like that. If you find a new villain we're missing, send that on in as well, but title it "Don't Approve: New villain, Rotting Husk", etc.

In doing so, you will get rewarded credibiblty for your hard work.

15 If you have the Information for an existing villain
30 If you have the Information for a new villain

We ask that you help, and strive to be the top credibility holder in a cut throat race to continue to make our site the best that is out there.

Also, you can submit your own user images of the beasties once we've got them set up for ya, so check back for those as well...

what is the command to get the information into a screenshot?

i thought i knew it but i must have forgotten it.

Just right click on a enemy, then click Info. That gives you the description. If you want to take a screenshot of the windows, just type:

/screenshotui 1

in your chat box. Also you can go to your keymapping in options and go down to where it says Toggle Screenshot UI (or windows not sure) and pick a letter to attach that to.

Got 3 prisoner pics up, forgot the info, didnt know about the police drone. maybe later.

What an nice coincidence i was just preparing for an info gathering mania (due to start the 10'th) and found this post.
This is what i was planning on doing originally.
But i still have afew questions like.
If i submitt an screenshot with info on it, is it ok if the info is in the picture or do i have to write it down as an comment?

Do i need an picture of the info or is it ok if i just write it down as an comment?/And where do i send the info if i ondly have info?

And if i do any of those 2 screenshots i mentioned above will all the info get in it's propper place or do i have to ring in/point at all of it, becose i can get alot of new info mabe eaven 5 different pieces in ondly 1 screenshot + the actuall screenshot/villain-picture (and it will probably be easy to miss some of it).

I have gone tru ewery picture in the COV Screenshots section (wow there is alot lol), and i do feel abit bad ower the fact that i will be submitting alot of info oriented screenshots that will ondly spam the regular one's ,is there any way of avoiding this like putting an kind of code/tag/message in the submission or do you guy's just try to figure it out/sort em out on your own??

And will the screenshots be resized and cropped (cut out) to remove excess data/image (i think you guy's sure will be, so no problem in that case).

We would appreciate it if you could write it in as a comment, that way it's easier for us to cut and paste it into the villain section when we're putting it all together.

As long as the screenshot is the correct villain and you can keep track of the info, the text doesn't have to be on the screenshot, it's best if you can get both, however. The text IN the screenie as well as in the comment. For these, submit them as normal screenshots with the information inside of the comment section of the screenie.

If you just have information without a screenshot, submit it as a tip, but in the title of the tip, put "DO NOT APPROVE: VILLAIN INFO: villain name".

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. If I'm reading it correctly, I think the answer to your question would be something like this: Try to make each screenshot a single villain with a single villain's information.

As I said above, when you submit a screenie (or a tip) that's for villain information, put "DO NOT APPROVE: VILLAIN INFO: villain name" in the title of the submission. When we, the staffers, view things in the Unapproved Content section of the site, we'll see that little message there and know what to do with it.

If you know how to resize and crop, it would be extremely helpful for you to do it. Otherwise, the staff members here will know how to take care of it. It's just a lot easier if they come in to us with the correct cropping and size. The images should be max 200 width. I believe the max dimensions are 200x200.

Well what i actually meant was that for example if i get an good picture with 1 NPC/villain on it, it's standard info + descriptions of some/all of he's powers (powers are hard to get info on but possible to get ingame).

But as for the cropping and resizeing it might be best in my case if i leave it to you guys, becose you people are more experianced and trained, that and my PC had an OS reinstall just reasent so my tools are not installed, so unless i get an cropping idea of my own i wana use i will leave it to you.

Ok im sending in info on the enemys in the tutorial section and their powers.
(plz note this "don't send in info on their powers from now on")

I also got info and picture on the NPC's there if you need em (just tell me and i will send em).

I wouldn't worry too much about the contacts or NPCs in the area. Just villain information would be great. I'll create a "Prisoners" group for the Breakout Prisoners.

Ok so you mean in the Outbreak/tutorial area or in all COV area's/zone's ??

Escaped Prisoners are only found in the Breakout Tutorial. (Outbreak is the tutorial in CoH)

Sorry abouth that i was wondering abouth the NPC's not the Prisoners.

Anyhow there is an problem with the GameAmp site, i can't find info/pictures on already existing Villains info's/pictures's, so now i don't know what material (info/pictures) you already have :(

On the navigation bar to the left, there's a topic listed under "Game Info" that reads CoV Villains. Click on it.

You'll see all the Villain Groups in the game.

Click on the Villain group you're planning to upload.

See if we have the specific villain/hero listed.

I sent in a few. I sent in Aurora Borealis because you have her as an AV but when I fought her she was a Hero. Other things of that sort. Hope I could help.

Yeah, so I found a villain that ain't on the villain list it's the Vahzilok Boss, he kinda looks like my buddy's costume. Anyways I took pics and got the info pic too, I just need the link to post it, his name is Luminous Eidolon.

EDIT: 30 sec later I found another Vahzilok Boss, her name is Murk Eidolon. got a screenie too.
