GW Skills

Please post any errors you find in the Skills Section here.
We'd be real obliged if you can strengthen your point with a screenshot showing the correct information.

Virulence, here, shows slightly incorrect progression, and doesn't mention Poison.

edit: It also shows recharge time of 10, when it is 15.

I'm not sure if you're interested in 'non-player' skills.. I haven't come across a 'miscellaneous skills' section or whatever..

Strange, I see the Virulence bit has been reported in advance, but still not fixed. Hmm ...

In reference to the ranger skills 'quickshot' and 'crippling shot'

Quickshot states that the boss to cap is 'Maxine Coldstone' and upon clicking on the name I see a map showing perdition rock; which includes the only ranger skill as 'crippling shot' from 'Melandru's cursed'.
Also the detail for 'crippling shot' states that it is capped from an unknown boss (and a picture of a big fat green guy) I'm not sure what exactly is wrong here but i know quite a few things are.

If you can get a screenshot of what actually has crippling shot I can give you some credit, and if Maxine Coldstone isn't there and you can proof it I'll give you some more. It might just be a map error, but I can't check that at the moment.

I also fixed Virulence and gave you some credit.

Not sure if we'll add NPC skills - I'll have to ask Lani.

I dont actualy know where to cap crippling shot, its just the link for quickshot dosnt show where quickshot is, only crippling shot; and crippling shot has no info of where to cap it. All I noticed was that there was a mixup; if I have time I will take a look and see if I can find their catual positions, I was just pointing out that where was an error.

Hey guys, I understand you're trying to help. But if you do so, putting your assistance in the form of riddles or "search the mistake" pictures, you're overshooting your target a bit :-)
If you wnat to help, be concise please.

And yes, ommissions and errors spotted on Elite skill capture maps are welcome as well. Gryzz and or Silly will compile those for Evil Geek to correct when he gets around to updating the elite skill maps. The same goes for collector maps, world map and Mission maps. That's a lot of maps to do, so don't be surprised if you don't see changes made overnight ok?

Spellbreaker is listed as being found in snakedance and capped from raptorhawk

And several places I checked show this as well but SoJ and peace and harmony are listed on the map Spellbreaker points to.

both SoJ and Peace and harmony point to this map though.. perhaps SB just needs added to the map?

Obviously i got the wrong idea here, i was pointing out the multiple errors in reference to 3 ranger elite skills; i was not trying to get points and i will try and find out the true facts in some of these situations; but i presumed one of the admins could discover the answers to most fo these problems.

In the Monk skills section, under Mending, it has the max Regen can be up to 3, when it is infact 4 with 13 and after healing points.

We only list the unenhanced levels per skill. So just 0-12.

Only slightly different wording, but 'Enchantment Spell' missed again (although it does still say 'enchantment').

I also realise you need the last sentence, since you don't currently have a field for 'energy regeneration'.

Just 'Spell' omitted again. I think it's important to know whether it's a 'spell', 'enchantment spell', 'skill', etc.. and they can just be updated as/when; but just say if you don't want updates just for 'type' omission.

Little update:
We now have the means to update the progression tables in Skills (those were actually unedittable for staff).
So if you spot errors in there, post them here and either Silly Ranger or Gryzz will make adjustments.
To make it easy on them, please list the levels at 0 & 12 for normal skills and 0 & 15 for Elite Skills. If we fill those in, the rest is calculated for us :-)
The reason behind the different top levels has to do with the way this information was originally supplied at the official site.

Tachi Forvent, listed as a boss with the elite skill Ineptitude, does not have the skill. My husband and I did Villiany of Galrath 2/22, killed Tachi, he had no elite on him.

(Successfully capped from the other guy listed in Mineral Springs, Wryt Sharpfeather.)

Mrs Deathscythe lvl 20 N/Me ... Spiteful Spirit in UW, anyone?

With the new skill balances coming out in a day or so, I'm not sure whether to bother doing all the screenshots and stuff, but Fevered Dreams, Here,
shows that all nearby foes are afflicted, but it is currently all foes in the area.

And damn, do I reeeeeally need that one.

Here are three minor errors I found.

Withdraw Hexes is spelled "Withdraw Hexas"

Ward Against Elements has the description of Ward Against Foes

Quick Shot Elite is doubled

Under monk skills, Shield of Deflection is listed as a Factions Elite. It is a Prophecies skill, you can cap it in Ring of Fire mission from Grun Galesurge.

sorry, no screenshot but...

when you go to warrior section the first skill is called "Elite Skill". and due to the new update most shouts have the words, "within earshot" in the description.
