ok i have been playing this game for about 2 months now i have heard about 15k armor and have been trying to find out what it was.. im not very far in the game just level 14 since i only play the game every once and a while and i was wondering if anyone could give me a few pictures or tell me what it is..it would be very appreciated..and sorry for the noob question :)

15k armour is armour where each part costs 15k (plus materials)
it has the same stats as droks armour but looks different. I beleive that you aquire this armour from the granite citadel. If i am wrong please correct me, cause i hate giving out wrong info.

Um, if you go to www.gwonline.net, they will give pictures and details about all 15k armour types. It might help abit.

nice, thanks, i just looked they look preatty cool
i guess thats all the info i need i kinda get it now but if anyone has anymore infoof the 15k armor that they think will be usefull just post it here :-)

lol i think we are some of the few people that are actually online lol-.- Christmas is here! mwuhaha
I actually prefer the 1.5k platemail armour, knowing that i wont be able to afford the 15k till later on. But they did leave out fissure armour which can cost between 1mil and 1.6mil if you include the ectos that you will need. That is truely the most expensive armour.

lol, 15K... that's a bit to much for me... I use my money over all 4 characters, so I come normally only till 2K or something... I only have 1 piece from Droknar's, 2 pieces of my armor is from Amnoon Oasis 'nd 1 piece is still from Quarrel Falls... I never have enough money for full armor...

For me 15k is all about looks and function, namely with my warrior. He uses 15 glads chest, gloves I like how they look. 15k plate for legs and boots mostly becuase I don't think you should go into battle with a skirt. and 15k ascalon helm well i need the damage reduction from it, the helm is always hidden.
Now my monk on the other hand uses 1.5 and collector stuff. I don't really like the looks of male monk's 15k I much prefer the dragon tatoos (i am a dragon nut) and again becuase wearing a loincloth into battle is beyond a little foolish he has to have pants!

<- click screen shots then click armor gallery they have pictures on this site as well. the materials are often expencive at the rare materials trader you might want to craft them there are two crafters one in the desert and one in south shiverpeaks.
two places you can get 15k armor are granite citadel and the matalans grotto (sp).
you can find thease on the...

one thing i might like to see is a link to the respective parts of armor included in the armor section. but yet again a bit of digging will show you each sort of armor.

There are 3 places you can get 15k armor from, Granite Citadel, Marhan's Grotto, and the Fissure of Woe. Typically the Fissure of Woe 15k sets are called Fissure armor instead of 15k. The fissure armor will cost you considerably more time and money than granite, or grotto armor, as to get the fissure armor you will need to get a hold of some rare crafting materials (ectoplasm(from the underworld) and obsidian shards(from the fissure of woe)) that are quite expensive, if you try to buy them. They are even more difficult to find them than buy, from what I am told.
You can get to Marhan's Grotto by leaving Thunderhead Keep and heading southeast. The granite citadel, I think, is best gotten to from the Dwarven war camp in Grenth's Footprint. Leave from there and head east the nest zone, then it is just north.

15k armor is all about choice, the stats are 100% same as their original Droknar's ancestors have. Most people just want to show how rich, experinced they are by buying that armor or the FOW armor. May not be very much true but so far goes my opinion. Still some 15k are far more nicer then the original are ...

yeah i know its my little joke i does go to matalan all da time for me cardigans and fluffy slippers. since they shut down peacocks :(. i know in my profile it says newport, west verginia, uk.
this is because they didnt have wales in the options strange that they let me be from west verginia uk tho :/
edit : in the past i have also refered to it as mahatmas grotto after the indian passive resistance fighter who umm didnt fight.. went to the sea to make salt that kind of thing.

15k armour still has higher armourrating then droks armour. If i remember correctly droks is 60, but 15k armour is 70. Otherwise i would never have bought it since it takes a lot of farming to get it together.

Ofcourse, ectos and shards aren't hard to buy. >.<
The Rare Material Trader sells them, that's how I always get them if I need them.

No, 15k armor has the exact same stats as the droks armor. No matter what class you are, the 15k version of the same armor will have the same stats.

Most of the Ideas of 15K armour
a, same stats as 1,5k armour
2, some marerial needs upgrades to cost more
3, the upgrade to 15k for each bit
Hopes someones covered what ellie armour is where, know it was a pain with my Ranger to battle all the way to the citadel to then find out the armour I wanted was down the Grotto :(
