Hey Guys I need ya'lls help!
I have a friend who bought BF2 from off of Ebay brand new, (Factory sealed).
He really needs help because now that he has started installing it he got 90% of the way finished then he got a file error. (E:/ data4.cab23)
Then after the error it tells him that it failed to install.
Can someone walk me through how to fix this?
Or what the problem is?

there are many possible problems but first i would check that you have enough space... BF2 does suck up alot of room.
also it just may be a crappy CD (even if its new it might just be a bad one) ex.I bought dungeon siege 2 a few months ago and i couldnt install no matter what i tried, it kept freezing on one spot... anyways just return it if this is the problem.
enter the name of that file into google and you may find it on a site where you can download
when installing and the error comes up click 'ignore' and finish the install. go back into the game files and paste the file you dl'd.
