| Where the *peep* are all the ectos? |

Yesterday and today I've done a total of 20 UW runs all the way through all smites with an echo ss/sv necro.
Normally (read: before about 2 days ago) we would find 12-15 ectos averagely on that amount of short runs.
So far though I found zero!
Did anyone else notice this or am I getting extremely unlucky?

I havent seen any ectos in the initial area people farm. I got disconnected the other day when I went with a group of rangers to the spawning pools. They got about 21 in that run. I got disconected while we were killing the behemoths on the way. Maybe they just made the ecto drops unlikely to drop in the starting area and frozen wastes.

On Monday, the 26th, I was part of a 4-ranger trapping run. The first pair of Aatxes dropped an ecto right off. That same run we had a total of 3 drops, sadly all for the same person. Lucky, I guess?
The day prior, Christmas day, as part of a 4-ranger trapping group. We had a total of 4 ectos drop. 2 for myself and 1 each for the other 2. I gave mine to the other ranger who didnt get a drop. That way, we all had one a piece. I liked it that way.
Yes, they still drop.
Haven't tried the Monk/Necro 2 man yet. Waiting on someone to get online more often and be my monk. Hehe, sacrificial lamb?

Well, this is absurd, I'm up to 25 full common runs now in the past 2 days and still 0 ectos. :(

Heh. I haven't seen anything other than a Terrorweb dryder drop an ecto for 2 months. I'm just unlucky and I guess my team mates are too.

Right, let me rephrase the question.
Has anyone noticed ectos dropping a lot less in the starting Aatxe/Grasping bit and the Smites area since a few days?

Well I saw ecto prices had dropped down to 10k so I bought like 50 of em

I have gone with a 3-Man Trapper group and 4-Man Trapper groups and i haven't found any ectos.

Hmm, when we have favor I might go farm Behemoths instead of Smites with one of my regular necros.
Let's see if it makes any difference, I'll let you all know if there clearly appears to be a difference.

Well, I'm still working on the builds to be able to kill Behemoths easily too so haven't done that yet but I did go off the standard path now and found 4 ectos straight away...
Seems a bit too lucky to be coincidence.

Take a nuker with you. They can even take fire storm. Those bahemoths will not run from it. :)
I did it the other day and it worked great. The problem is those stupid drakness octopus things. I forget what they are called, but they can hurt you pretty bad. Not the grasping darknesses, but the ones that are like the love child of a grasping darkness and a mursatt.
