It is now 12.31am on January 1st 2006 here in the UK.
Didn't really notice it, kinda slipped past me with more of a whimper than anything else. I didn't get to do anything exciting tonight, or spend it with anyone special - that person I lost a year ago and was halfway across the country tonight.
OK, I'm a little down and a little lonely, but I wanted to post to thank everyone for their efforts over the last few months to get this site up and running.
Also wanted to give a personal thank you to thejeni, warshadow and vincevoltage, three good friends who have sat and listened to me chatting on teamspeak about life the universe and everything. The last few months have been a rough ride for me and with the help and friendship from you guys I made it through.
So, here's to 2006 - a year for the villains to strike fear and terror into the hearts of the PAragon Parasites!
Have a fantastic night everyone and I look forward to seeing continued forum chat, submissions, screenshots and the great community spirit we have here.

I would like to thank the gameamp staff and members for their greatness. I have had a bad ending for the years except for my wonderful girlfriend. I wish that things could have been better for those of you that are loneloy or had a bad year also. I truelly and utterly wish that you have a great New Year...I hope you meet a loved one and that it goes really well for you.

Thanks for making me feel the need to excel in making a great newspaper article. I know you have a busy life, but I really hope your year goes better, and if you think I need to improve my News skills, please just send some of your great wisdom my way.
To the Gameamp community,
You guys are awesome. Without you, I would never have come to this site again and become a staff member. You guys really don't realize just how gifted yopu are and I sincerely hope you and everyone you know has a superb new year.
Lastly, I just plain out wish everyone and anyone a new year. Much love and grandness in the upcoming one.

With the dawn of the new year comes a morning of new opportunities. 2005 had it's ups and downs, hopefully with a few more ups than downs. In my personal life, there were a ton of changes. Between the loss of my job up in Rhode Island, to my move to Florida, starting a new career, making new friends, losing old habits and gaining new ones, having a wonderful person come into my life while having other wonderful people from my old home leave my life.
There were mistakes and mishaps, heartaches and heartbreaks, but one thing we have to take away from all of it is that life is a learning experience. Every day will present you with new challenges that you need to face and overcome.
I'll end my little schpiel with a quote from the band Semisonic (although I'm sure it was from somewhere else before that):
"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."

Well guys, what can I say? I've been away for a while (such is the lore of Guild Wars and no monthly fees). Its been a fun year Hero & Villain wise. I became staff on an awesome site; made some great new friends in places around the country and the world; I got my main villain within reach of my main hero in less than 2 months of real time (god, I spend too much time playing); joined up with an awesome VG...2005 was a great gaming year for me. Hopefully in 2006, you'll all have as much fun as I did in 05, and more.
