I missed the first keys and i dont want to buy them so iam waiting on next event for a pre order key. But if they will be out in 1 minute again i wont get one unless ive luck. SO anyone knows more information on the date new keys are available.
I dont think ill buy the game , i just want to play the beta cause it will be a monthly fee and i dont like that.

it's people like that who ruin it for those of us who want to play the game as well as beta it..those who get into beta's just to have "free" playtime then go on to the next is sickening.a beta is not for freeloading..its for those to test the game and submit in what they think about it and what ideas they have for the actual released version..IMO you need to go back to console games and leave the betas to those of us who actually have intentions on playing these games as well as paying for them!!!! (sorry about the temper phedra but this is a joke for him to have the nerve to post something like that)

First of let me welcome you to GameAmp. The place where players come to find info and share their experiences from the games they love. Which means we no nothing more than what we can read on the games official sites. And the DnL main site is keeping quiet about new keys. But if you don't feel like paying a monthly fee, I won't bother with trying out Beta's. You will play half finished games. Probably loose your progress every so often, and never get the change to play it through. What I would suggest to you, if you like MMORPG's is to try out GuildWars. It is a great game, without any monthly fee.
But personally I think a good MMORPG (with a monthly fee) is saving you lots money in the end. I have been hooked on City of Heroes for almost a year now, and I haven't bought any other game, since I have no time nor interest to play them. Which saves me 6*40 = $240 a year. But that is just the start. If you get really hooked you will have less time for useless trips to the mall, movies or restaurants. Which saves you 52*(20 + 10 + 20) = $2600 a year. So a small fee of 15*12 = $180 a year is a smart investment.

I feel your pain, Stormi. And I do hope you (and players like you) will get in on the next key hand-out. The game will definately benefit from it. But everybody is free to ask his or her questions here. Although I fully agree with you, I would still like to see thebutcher come back. Maybe we can convince him that this game is going to be worth a monthly fee.

i do understand now that people like me are not to be in betas. I now know better what betas are for and that other people can be frustrated. ill probably not buy this game. Is it in stores already? I keep an eye on release lists and never saw it anywhere. I wonder if much people will be playing it.

Hi thebutcher, welcome back :)
The purpose from Beta it for the developers to see players try out their system. Even if you don't buy/subscribe in the end, you still help with stress testing the system. So, don't give up on trying to get into beta on any game.
As for Dark&Light, the game came out in May. But I am afaid it won't have a long life. If you read the other recent posts you'll see there isn't much good news. I hope they will survive, fix the issues, and become successful. But in the meantime I am playing other games.
