whats your main char? and why?

okey i reliese this has probably have been said before, but just go with it.

okey so what profession is he/she and why? does he or she relate to you an anyway or it it because of something else?

My first character was a ranger/monk. I thought i'd like him a lot, which I still do sometimes but I found myself playing my warrior and necromancer more and more. I chose the ranger well just because of the looks I guess and rangers are usually a difficult character to play as.

My main char would be Dragonius X, my ele ^.^ , my first char... really learned to play with her and we've been in thight situations like the doubleganger back then, and elona's reach and THK.

but then again...

my ranger, dragonius xr ^^ ... she's great, cute, funny, sexy.... ahh i gotta get out >.< lol! well she's great :) lots of random pvping with her and over 150k factions thanks to her.

My main character is my warrior. Mainly cause i do lots of farming trying to make money. The key word is trying lol. But i also like playing as my ranger (in group stuff) rangers are a pretty fun class to play as. And last but not least, my monk... my monk was my first character, and it just kinda got old to play as.

Me first character was my warrior, Mega Awesome. I will always log onto him before anything else. I don't really play any other of my pve characters, and when i pvp i always make a pvp only character anways.

My first character was my Necromancer/Ranger (back then) and now he is a N/W (<---using my own build). I chose to make him because I love the necromancer profession from other role-playing games. I like that I can attack from long range (and now short range) and steal life away from foes or create the undead. I guess I also wanted to be different and have a character more like myself at that time. I still use my first character heavily so I guess it must have been a match made in heaven (or the other place...). :)

Warrior/Ele for teh win! :p When I was kid, I watched varied shows, read tons of books, and day dreamed a lot about I wish I could be a knight who can control the elements. And the Guild wars gave me something close to it. Except I'm not able to make Water elementals to help me make a bridge...

my ranger, artemis was my first character. She and I have been through alot together. She's got the tough girl persona and doesn't take crap from anyone.

Then, of course, there's my monk, Paladin, also known as a damn good healer by many a FOW party. She's sweet, flirtatious, and cute, and did I mention short? Be careful, though, she may be small, but she packs a big punch.

i find that i play with my monk more often because it's easier to find groups for . . . well . . . anything as a monk.

my primary characters are Artemis the Wraith and Paladin of the East. If you see me, drop me a line.

I currently have 2 main characters, monk/? and wa/me, though I'd have to say I prefer the monk over the war. Normally Amn Unk, as he is called, exists as a mo/me, though I do switch him around fairly often.

Personally, I like being busy while I'm online. With a level 20 character who has completed every mission, there really isn't too much to do that you can do without other players. Being a healer monk allows me to get into groups quickly and easily, and since I usually fill the last required slot, I can then get going onto adventures quickly and then be doing things.

It is also fun to be a healer monk, especially in high-level areas, because I am almost always working in battles, sometimes on panic mode, which is, well, panicky, but once it is over the relief really outweighs that. I don't enjoy doing pvp so much with my monk, since I always sort of just have to be running around like a pansy, but in pve I can use cover and my experience with aggro manipulation to keep safe and heal.

Being a Wa/Me is also a lot of fun. It is so entertaining to run up to enemies, especially Necros and Mesmers, and just interrupt all their spells, with the few that get through rolling off you without touching you (Hex Breaker), hurting them (Shatter Hex), or getting turned around on them (Inspired hex). Meanwhile, they can't kill you since all their hex combos are ineffective, your armor effectively avoids damage from other warriors and rangers for the most part, and the damage from Elementalists is relatively minor as well, especially if you have Elemental Resistance up. The best part is that this works in both pve and pvp, and no one really sees it coming, either.

Healing Monk and Smiting Monk. I like healing because it's easy to do and your team is ever grateful when you do it and because i've gotten used to it so it's no longer a big deal for me. Also i like messing with people in the Tombs who try to make a PUG with me it by saying "rank 3 healer lfg" and then they take you and then i say "HA! only rank 2" and then they drop you and then i say "no really i am rank 3" and they take you again then i say "...but i'm a smiter" and they drop you. By they i mean the 50 invites at a time that you get just for being a monk.

I like smiting because it's fun in the arenas and people call smiters n00bs especially after they get pwned by one which is always amusing. Also, despite what many people think, a well played smiter is good for things such as spiking and smiter circles and can take down warriors fairly quickly.

My main smiter is SmitingMonkLady who can also go healer and prot and my main healer is PvP Healer Dude who exists only for gvg and arenas.

Basically because I prefer being a supportive character.
Ranger/(Monk/Mesmer): Jaden Orr
Mainly because of the versatility of the Ranger profession and I like to be able to run almost anywhere on my own to just explore around.

But I have two accounts filled up with 'mains'. To be honest I tend not to have a Main in this game or others. I tend to try all professions or classes in a game at least for a bit, then get attached to the character, even when I screwed up my build and return to it. Often there's one or two that get the most attention though. In this game, it's the two mentioned above.

My main character changes from time to time, depending on which is more benefical to me at the momment. That usually means the one that brings in the best income.

My W/Mo, Kira Rahl, used to be my main character, she was my runner. But running doesn't seem to be the best way to make gold, so I my main character now is my N/Me.

Deaths Tormentor, my SS/SV Necro is now my favorite character because of the amounts of gold I get when farming in the UW. Ectos drop quite frequently when you have a party of 2 people.

I suppose those are my favorite character.

Main character is Jack O Slack. 20 lvl Mo/Me. Name is deceptive, I'm a juggler and enjoy the juggling/shuffling of maintaining the party.

As a primary healer, one cannot pay too much attention to any single thing - one must pay some attention to all things. (Peripheral Vision) I hardly ever see what we're fighting due to watching health bars or skills used by party members.

I can hit TAB and SPACE keys quite proficiently in the mean time.

My 2 cent.

My heal or prot monk is what I use the most because as a monk it is easier to get into parties, and 2-man underworld is always good. :)

My first character, Qin Sparx, is a E/N, and I've played loads of game hours with her, but now she's taking some time off, sunbathing in North Kryta.

My second character, Brynte Sledge, is a W/Mo and atm I mainly use her to help new players with missions and quests.

Now, my other two characters are recent ones, trying out combinations I haven't made yet. Dume Dakarai is my R/Me and Aere Swyft is Me/N and I have to say that I LOVE playing a Mesmer/Necro combination, powerful in a sneaky subtle way :p

Rangers run this Mutha.......!
I went as far to creat 2 rangers for different purposes. My 1st charactre Daragon Fireshot Ranger/Elementalist i use him for str8 up damgage dealing, then there Rayne Darkarrow Ranger/Mesmer my PvP interrupter. I also got bored and created a Warrior because of the farming and also a great addition to my PvP play. I have a monk but i had some bad experiences with hin so i dont play with the character. Just use him for storage.

Rangers Rule, cant wait til chap 2 to see what the other 2 characters are gonna look like. I know of the assassin just like in Diablo 2, but what about the other. Maybe a druid, barbarian(berserker), or Sorcerer!

I just love necro skills and spells :D He used to be a very gd MM and I think it has something when you run arround with like 20-30 minions on your tail ^^ Just love the minions (yeah, I know the monks keep em alive aswel)

Recently forming him to an SS necro, to farm FoW or UW with a 55hp monk, no luck so far, but I'm working on it

First and only character that I played for a long was, of course, Garrett Gervasius. He will always remain, no matter what. Originally I was going to replace him with an assassin by the same name, but I decided on another name and so I'll just keep my trusty R/Me, thank you very much. His background is in Thief, and you can find his history in his game handle, if you're inclined to read it.

Pretty much all of the Gervasius Family is becoming close to me now, though. Their family friend, a W/N by the name of Vlad Von Alucard, not as much as he once was, but not so far that I'd delete him. I have a fill in character who will become my Assassin, Zaya Gervasius. She is also based in Thief, but from a set of fan missions rather than the real game. My mesmer, whom I've been playing a lot recently, is Artemis Gervasius. When I get chapter 2, there will be at least one other game slot so I'll find a nice fella to fill in the shoes on that one, too.

This is probably way more information than you wanted, but oh well I am the all powerful lowly cleaning staff that probably gets spat upon by those with lots of saliva, and now its late and I'm getting weird so I'd better shut up while I can...

My first and favourite charachter is my monk, Mr Monkington. He has around 900,000exp and has just finished the Glint Quests (titan). I like him because monks are always needed in parties, there are no complicated builds, just protection and heal (and smite) and its an easy job to do, you also feel a sense on satisfaction at seeing your team surviving 9 titans at once.

If any of you needs any help with anything, I'd be happy to help. I have a lvl 20 char of all professions and a special Pre Only charachter. So just gimme a call if ya need help.

My main char is Agrios Invictus, a W/Mo, the one you can see in my sig.

It was my first and obvious choice because:
- I like playing warriors.
- It was the closest thing to the D&D Paladin class, wich like very much.

In a time where all want to say "I'm bad", "Fear me!" or such things, I can say "I'm a all-around good guy, and happy with it". So, when Im playing PvE, I do my best to help other party members by removing hexes, conditions, rezing and standing the way between casters and mobs meanwhile.

And when Im on cities I listen to help requests on chat mode, give items, weapons, hints, etc..

This is my "RP" part on this game.

After finishin the game, he went into griff farm runs, so I could buy skills and gear for all the other chars of my main account.

ATM Im playing my seccond account, with a female necro. Not because Im tired of being a good guy and want to be bad, its because I wan to have a char of each prime class. And why the necro?

1 - Because I like "zerging" with minions
2 - Because Spiteful Spirit ownz

My main char used to be my mesmer but i deleted it then it became my monk that was because i farmed a lot with my monk (good old AoE days) then it became my ranger and it still is my ranger xD

My first character I made 'Gothic Tragedy', a Necromancer / Elementalist. This was the character I learnt how to play the game with, and is the only one so far to have completed all the missions. But after realising I prefered Curses over the other attributes in Necro, I changed him from Elementalist to Mesmer, and used Domination with it. Thus, now has also become the character I use for PvP. And now with the rise of the UW run of SS Necro and 55hp Monks, I can now use my Necro to do that when I feel like it. When I don't use Curses, I use Blood, mainly using BiP or WoP. (I really prefer being in a support role).

My second was a Ranger / Necro, 'Raphael Nicodemeus'. I use this alot just for general use, mainly in Sorrow's Furnace. (Is an interrupt ranger) I choose a Ranger, as it seemed a very mixed class, and thought interrupting could be a good asset to a team (when i get accepted XD) But generally when out with henchmen, I find interrupting and barrage spamming quite fun, and helps sharpen timing etc.

Then I made a Monk / Elementalist, 'Sombre Bride', which was generally healing and earth. Then switched over to Monk / Warrior, for the obvious reason to make it a 55hp monk. However, when not farming, I am generally a smiter and healer.

I have made a Warrior 3 times, but each time deleted after a while, as I never could really get into that character class. My 4th slot has always been varied, between PvP test builds and PvE characters that end up being deleted. At the moment, I am trying a Mesmer / Monk and seeing how that goes.

My main char is Endoxos Kuridion (for those curious, Endoxos means "noble" in Greek, and Kuridion is a mashing of the Greek words Kurios "Lord" and Paidion "daughter"... hence "noble daughter of the Lord"). I made her an E/R when I started, and one of the first things I did with her was buy her pyromancer armor and dye it purple... reason being, was the last online RPG I'd played was Phantasy Star Online, and the character I played there had ice-blue pony tails (albeit more poofy), had a white face with blue streaks going down from her eyes, and wore the black and purple dress. So I made Endoxos Kuridion to look nearly identical to my PSO Endoxos. So even though the PSO servers had shut down, and I grew bored of PSO, the character I had such good times with back then still exists, so to speak. Just, minus the face paint.

My main character is Sroth The Dead. Yeah, the guy from my avatar and sig. Originally, he was made on another account, but then I got mine and remade him. He's currently a N/Me. But I can't wait to toy around with a N/A.

Why him? Well, originally, I was only going to be able to make 1 character. I did think of starting with the basic W/Mo, but I decided to learn the game with something a little more challenging. I loved the necromancer designs, so I decided on that.

But my account is like a well written story. There's no 1 single main character, but a few characters who share the spotlight.
