An SS necro is short for a Spiteful Spirit necro that uses mainly curses.
lots of people want them lately cause they can nuke without being an AoE. :) hope this helps

The SS necro is in demand for a two man UW run with a 55 health invici-monk.
The monk tanks while usually a N/Me with echo, SS, and SV provides the damage.

Yes, I believe I can. I have an SS/SV Necro that I use to farm. They usually form 2 man parties with 55-monks (invincible monks).
SS stands for Spiteful Spirt, which does massive damage to large groups of enemies.
SV is Sympathetic Visage, which drains the energy of of monsters attacking the 55 monk.
If the SS/SV Necro is not a N/Me, its not even worth taking them, because another key skill is arcane echo, which allows you to spam SS.
I ususally bring Awaken the Blood with me so my curses will be 18. Make sure to bring Blood Rit. to help monk and a res signet has came in handy a few times if the monk makes a mistake.

Thanks for that info on the SS/SV Necro, cred to you - my necro is now Ne/Me and will be trying that out. I also have a 55hp monk who can stay alive in UW thnx to spellbreaker but do nothing else...so if you catch my monk online - Ms Anthropy give me a shout and if u don't mind the lack of UW experience we could team up

my 55 monk can kill them, usually, but its about 1.5 min per group because i have only soj to kill em with -.-

on the topic of 2 man or even 1 man UW farming if thats still possible, ive read in multiple places that the things that strip enchants can be killed in 1 or 2 wand hits if you have the necessary req. can anyone enlighten me on if this is a bug, what the enchant stripping things are called, and what wand types work for this? it has me stumped atm

The monster is called a Dying Nightmare. In a two man team, the monk uses spell breaker to protect the enchantments. It only takes 2-3 hits from any max damage monk wand (fire damage) to kill them.
I use an "enchanting" sword to cast the enchantments and keep a holy rod (I think mime is Wroths, but it doesn't matter the type) on switch to kill the nightmares. I do reccomend a holy rod as they have divine favor as the req and usually a 2 man team the monk takes everything out of smiting.

they are DYING nightmares.. so I guess they are supossed to die, not?
the skills they use also kill them. it will use rendenchts and blood ispower as far as I know. quite funny to see really..
The mursaat have covered the vulcano with potent anti-magics. I can feel them draining my power away even now.
