ya i got 1 of those and iv been holdin on to it for awhile. i dont kno wat its for. can any1 tell me? do u jus sell em for money?

well i dont think they have a purpose. nor have i ever seen 1 drop. im pretty sure that just like rubies and saphiers they are not used on any armor.
however ive used them to make quite abit of money. i boughtly loads of them when they where down to 500g and then sold them when they were 2.5k which was quite a noticable amount.
exept that i dont think they have a use.

As far as i know they r only good for selling but witth chapter 2 coming up, who knows ...

Well I checked our collectors section on this one : no listing, so I did a quick Google and it seems that these are amongst several other items that at present have no use - if anybody finds out otherwise Im sure I will be corrected on that one :-)
Whether or not they will become usable in future updates is anybodys guess- so the choice is yours, hang on to 'em just in case or visit your local friendly merchant and take the money and run.

there is also monsterous claw and fangs is it? I have seen no use for any of them, and i have had one of them as a drop off a devourer boss in surmia mission.

no dude, the pink things are globs of ectoplasm
I found an eye off a hulk thingy in maguuma once, I just remember it sold for alot
An interesting side note: you can buy them off the rare materials traders
life, well, life is like a tray of cocktail weenies, no matter how many you take, you still have to deal with all the toothpicks

Those are NOT claws that are needed for fissure. Those are "suppose" to be Obsidian Shards. Like previously stated, at this point there are no uses for claws, eyes, and fangs.

I think that is just a doctored picture of what the forgemaster offers, 1.) Obsidian shards are used for fissure and don't look like that. 2.) The picture of Monstrous Fangs looks like that.

Well it's not doctored, but I found that on Wikapedia, so don't blame me. If it is not true go complain to someone else and don't be a complete and total jerk I hate people who judge me on one little mistake, if you are going to insult me make sure you have all the facts!And there are lots of tyeps of fissure that don't req shards, like the Necro scare pattern's.

Actually, the picture is correct...
Previously, FoW Armor required Materials, Char Hides, Monstrous Claws, and Globs for Crafting, it was changed to Shards for some reason - however, since the change I'd rarely found any Monstrous items until recently, when I had a Eye drop just the other day in Maguuma.
Perhaps, like Rubies and Saphires, there'll be a need for them in Factions?
