you know the stores you pay money to and they give you 1,000k, or 500k, ect?
you know how it was discussed that they probably have people who farm all this stuff in 3rd world parties and sell it. and not make much?
Well i think, like 96% sure i found one!!! he kept trying to sell some stuff to me.. this trade lasted about an hour long since what he said was limited. he kept saying the same things over and over and over... well one time i asked(cause i was buying something from him) i said i'll pay 60k for this if you tell me if you work for those online stores, if you dont answer 50k for them. He never answered and said 50 for this item. IT WAS WIERD!! like creepy wierd!! and he had items like his inventory never ran out... wow.. i g2g and lay down now.. hum...

i had an experience like that durring the cc shard craze...I kept buying up this guys stock of shards for resale and he would just keep asking me if I wanted more.....he only said a few words and nothing else it was quite odd...guys had like an infinite supply of them.

Aren't those things illegal ...
And btw i have this all teh time, the Koreans always keap trading me all kinds or items. One day i was asking WTB Shield... I got like 11 Korean guys who wanted trade me a sword ...

seems against the EULA, but watch the trade chat, you will see the bots listing one item right after the other, then repeating, really annoying if you are looking for something in particular
(I never put in a WTB post... that's like putting a sticker on your forehead... and will leave it up to your imagination as to what it would say :P )

honestly i don't think ANet actually responds to trade bots or they just allow them to do their things since there are probably so many of them it would look bad for ANet if they banned all those accounts. It's not hard to find a tradebot and there are districts that are packed with them. I find it hard to believe that ANet doesn't know about these districts or these bots so it brings me to believe that they either don't care or can't do anything about them for whatever reason (profit loss or bad image maybe?)

This may be newbish, but, what exactly is a "Tradebot"? Is it someone who hacks GW to get items?
I find that Dist 1 of any of the major cities is cluttered with WTS spam...
All I've got is insane...

Trade bot.. a program wherer it controls the char. to trade stuff to people for a profit.

If you ever see something like that again, take a few screenshots then submit it to ANet. They will ban account that do that kind of thing.

yeah sometimes people spamming for instance:
WTS vampriric blah blah
WTS rune of blah blah
WTS sundering blah blah
WTS etc etc..
(yes the blah blah isnt there in trade, but i cbf typing different stuff in)
these are generally bots but dont just report them cause they use the trade channel over and over, i do the same selling technique build up a large amount of items then type in each one in and then just use the up or down key to scroll thru my previous chat and repeat what i just typed, test them out generally the bots will only have a few responses, i know i have been called a bot many times using this selling technique.

Hey i have that guy on my friends list. i added him. i couldnt help it cause it was just to wierd.
But yes. i added him. and okey i will. and Osmosisjones thank you.. i have a ton.. i mean like 31 gold items i need to sell... i'll use that method. thanks
