Confession time: Coming out

Now that I've scared everyone who wouldn't appreciate this topic with that title, let me tell you: This is not what you think :-)
This is about songs we secretly like but would be caught dead before admitting to it, sort off. Here's your chance to make a clean breast of things and let out those sweet gooey feelings you've been keeping locked up inside.
You have to state your 'secret' song, by whom (who's version in many cases) and a bit about why you like it.

I'll start:
I'm a real sap and though I generally loath those overdone comercialized love song ballads, I go all warm and huggy-feely inside and goos bumped outside whenever I hear Eternal Flame by the Bangles.
Yes, it's yappy, it's sappy, it's old but so am I, secretly. Ok, I also used to have this huge crush on Susanna Hoffs during my teens, so I'm biassed.

Ok, now it's your turn :-)
P.s. it doesn't have to be a love-song. If you're a hardcore Metal head and there's this easy-listening tune you secretly like, that's okay too.

hmmm...well as horrible as it is for me to admit it...I actually like this song (don't know the name of it) by Good Charlotte....if any of the people I hang out with heard me say that they would hang me by my feet and gut me...or just never talk to me again lol. Runs and pukes gah....admitting that made me sick again.

This is not a song but…I never cry when watching a sad movie, but then I saw Full Metal Alchemist. The brotherly love was so overwhelming that I wailed like a 4yo girl…

This isn't a love song, this is going to blow any chance of being cool that I ever had and I am really loath to admit it esp on a public forum - but hey if Lani can do it......Damn I wish I could be bothered to do this in 1337 then it might not be so bad but OK to the uncool point - I kinda like the Spice Girls track 'Holla'. There Ive said it and NO coming out about it doesn't make me feel any better *hangs head in shame* awwe sod it I like the beat and the vocals (for the spice girls) aint really that bad. Please don't flame me...I'm truly sorry

Well, I'm torn. I would have to call a tie between Texas - Inner Smile (from Bend it Like Beckham), and The Cardigans - Lovefool. That felt good to get off my chest. ;)

I like Kissed by a Rose too, nice choice Apoletta.

I switch loads but I love Japanese music most :) I dont really have a "favourite" song, but these are the ones I like alot:

B-52 - Love Shack.
Cibo Matto - birthday Cake (Brother showed this song to me, its fun trying to work out the lyrics :D)
Skoop on Somebody - Happy People (LOL! Its from my favourite anime 'Bleach'. Very good song, worth a listen xD)
Hot Hot Heat - Island of the Honest Man.

and then some Weird Al songs, and others. Im not too picky on my songs. Aslong as it has a nice chorus, I will love it :P

Well I like Jpop and Kpop but since I can't ytpe in korean or japanise. My most loved song would have to be Can't touch this by mc hammer. No I'm not old. I just like saying "Can't touch this ba na na na, na na, na na can't touch this!" Or even "Stop! Hammer time!" In pvp. But that's not a hiden fact so. I'll say "Hush" By LL Cool J.

I seriously don't know how to beat that! I will try my best however in admitting that I once danced on O-zone dragostea din tei in a party when I was drunk out the limits.... besides that I was about to be ashamed to say I like old stuff made by Savatage like Summer rain when I'm more of a nu metal kind of guy.

C'mon peeps help Evil Geek out and spit it out!

BTW: I'm just messing it's ashaming, Evil but not that much :) (I think ;) )

Ok, I'm a metalhead but when I listen to Konstantine of Something Corporate I always feel this gaze of happy thoughts popping up again :-)

ever since my mom and dad left me when i was only 6 years old, they just left on a plane while i was at the terminal waving goodbye to them...
a handkerchief in one hand, a box of coockies in the other hand...
the last gift i got from them...a box of coockies
I still save the crumbs from that last coockie as a memory of my dear parents leaving

just kidding, no reason why but i just love that song although it's not my kind of music ;-)

Normally, I listen to lots of 80's metal, and shredders, and stuff like that, but I think that some of The Postal Service songs are pretty good, so is Death Cab for Cutie. Thats the worst I could think of at the moment.

For me it would have to be Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Everytime I hear that song come on the Radio, I stop whatever it is I'm doing, and start singing the heck out of it.

But on another one, I'm not one to really cry at sad moments, but man I cried like a baby when playing Final Fantasy VII, when Aerith was killed by Sephy. I also cried like a baby at the end of an anime called Air TV.
