Boy...talk about bad luck. Since I have limited time to play during the week, i try to bang out at least about 3-4 missions (usually can do this in about 1.5-2 hours). Well, yesterday, was soloing with my MM (lvl 23...3 bbls from 24). Had a mission to get the Scrapyarders leaders, 4 of them. Now, I run on ruthless setting (helps with xp, limited playing time). well, 40 minutes of doing this mission, I bit dust 3 times total (the dynomite they throw is murder to robots). However, I ended the mission with no debt.
Now, it was time to do my other mission, the dreaded Sea Witch mission. Gathered a team of 5 others to assist. Well, an hour and 10+k debt later, we finally finish the mission and it's time for me to log.
2 missions and a pot load of debt. and I still need 2.5 bbls to hit lvl 24.

The Scrapyarder leader mission...is that the one where you have to go against that Elite Boss that does the Healing Aura thing. She's a pain. I know she has a name, but I think I've mentally blocked it out.

Fortunately it's not. This one was where you had to kidnap the 4 Scrapyarders leaders (bosses). These guys have a whistle from hell..lol. I take out the minions around them, and they whistle, and **poof** out pops 2 more minions...right out of thin air. Now, i'm set on Ruthless difficulty level and the bosses are already purple to me and they pop out two orange minions, right after my bots are beat and burnt to hell.

BishopJon, I can echo your sentiment! Something just wasn't right in the air over the Rogue Isles yesterday.
After tackling the Ghost of Scrapyard with a 7 strong team of Level 27+ villains, and being soundly trounced numerous times. Then finding that none of the newspapers will give me missions (yes, none, anywhere, regardless of zone). Now I'm up against Barracuda as an Arch-Villain and she hands me my head on a plate every last time!
I think I've personally contributed to an inch-deep layer of robot parts and shrapnel all over Shark Head Island and have personally bankrupted the Rogue Isle Medical Insurance Co with my frequent trips to the Hospital. (At least I've got on a first name basis with a nice young male orderly. Hehe)
All up, something like 17K Dept in the space of about two hours, and that's a lot of street grinding when the Newspaper Editor never has anything for me!

Holy crap, dude...I'm right with you on the Scrapyarders. They're HORRIBLE for Robot MMs. Even Demolitionists that are Gray to me absolute tear apart my bots. I've found that the easiest way to handle them is to program macros that let you put your bots wherever you want (EX: click the button, all Protector Bots go to the spot you assign them). This way you can surround them and get them out of the massive AoE damage the explosives do. This has worked pretty well for me so far, with far less losses than before I started using those macros.

Yeah, that Scrapyarder boss mish made zombie fajitas of my MM's pets lickity-split. The MM didn't survive much after that...I think me and the boys bit it 4 times...one for each boss. I'm so glad that mish is over...

Wow...so it wasn't just me huh...lol, whew, that is good to know. I wonder what they use in those explosives they throw?
Hmm, I'll have to work out those macros to move my bots to certain positions and stay put (my bots are hard headed at times). However, the funniest thing to watch is after they explosives hit and the DoT kicks in, those little bot feet scurry away from the fire...lol. I kinda put them in harms way sometimes just to watch their reaction LOL. A couple of them even jumped on a roof or something, but I couldn't find him for several minutes, even when i ordered him to heel...lol. I'm just glad that those missions are over. Oh, and the other one that comes after the kidnap mission, Stop the Dockworkers Strike. If it wasn't for the badge that came with that mission, I would have left it alone (more debt). I'm still working on hitting level 24. Getting close though. Hopefully no more Scrapyarders or Dockworkers in my future.

My mm is lvl 26 and they were whites to me because it was an old mission...The ninjas were cajun style in no time. It's any pet that burn damage or extreme DoT just rips up. I'm not sure why, but I don't think any AT can stand in the center of those fire explosions. Maybe a Brute w/ health, and all his shields, but still...
I think the Scrapy's need to be nerfed!
