You know its a sad sad day in gw history when you can get an ecto and say "big whoop", where you cant find a buyer for an ecto for any more than 7k (even that is hard to find). Yes my friends it is the end of ectoplasm and it is quite a sad day indeed. What could have caused this horrific event? Sarrows Furnace? New Underworld? Chest farming in FoW? Who knows but it is a sad sad day indeed...

Well, now that ecto is cheaper, we can get our fissure armour more easily :P

why get FoW if everyone ahs it though =P. I recommend staying with presearing for that "unique" feel =D

I'm not particularly worried about the price of Ectos dropping because the price of Shards isn't as far as I can tell. There is a new supply of Ectos, so it is only predictable that the price would drop, but once that supply isn't "new" anymore, fewer people will go there, fewer Ectos will be had, and the prices will rise again. Besides that, the majority of people can't, or rather don't, ever afford 15k armor, so the number of people that actually shell out the cash for FoW armor will remain a small minority.
Even if FoW armor DID drop below 200k for a whole suit, I myself woulnd't get any of my characters any. I think it looks little better than the Drok's varieties, and much worse than the 15k varieties. So, no FoW armor for me. It's pointless and would just make my characters look dumb.

The prices started dropping long ago when UW solofarming and after the nerf dualfarming got popular i think, before that I have sold them for 14k each still, now you must be happy if you can sell them for less.
I agree with your Necro, even if I could FoW armor for free I would refuse to wear, to one exception: monk FoW armor.
All the others just look like... the crappest armors I've seen in pretty much any game to be honest.
I do have to say though that in my opinion if one tries hard enough... anyone can get 15k armor with ease, even for all his chars.

I don't want globs anymore, I want cash and materials... The next elite armor will be here soon, and I'd rather wait to find out what I'll need to get that...
If it's Ecto and Shards, I'll have to go buy a load back, if it's Rubies and Sapphires - Well that market is already improving... but I reckon it will be something new. And that's what I'm betting on.
Either way, globs have been over-priced for far too long... and it's nice to see the price reflecting what it is - Ghost Poo!

-.-' can't believe I was happy picking up ghost poo. I will never think of ectos without thinking about this comment :P
