Thunder Head simple and fast( INC BONUS)

This makes it so easy i do it with henchmen now . If you use henchmen take - 2 tanks 2 monks 1 necro 1 ele and the ranger = Fight your way to the keep , should not take to long make sure to call targets but you all know that :P. WHEN you clear the keep and the movie end run to the left torch Light it and then run across to the over and light that , the RUN TO THE KING DO NOT FIGHT stand behind king jalis and the jades fight the Tundra Giants and the summit boss,of course the jades win all the way up to the 1st boss . When the 1st boss is killed by the jades ( you should be still behind king ) run to the jades and kill them as fast as you can then there should be no problems of getting overflown the waves now are small and the most is 2 mursastt and a boss with a few white mantle /
Each character has a better way of beating this mission these are Warrior= Use basic stance builds to evade and if you hold the torch you take 75% of the agro RANGER = Traps trap every stair case and the king this helps incase you start to struglee. Mesmer= I have not done this is as a mesmer but i suspect a domination build should work fine , Necro = ss/curse build weaken armor x ss with barbs seems to work well if the perfect armor is your boss Ele = fire nuker (basic) metoer shower meteror ect Monk = A monk can do anything it likes a smite works fine healer is very helpful but prot is fine . This is the simple way to do thunderhead keep and the BONUS

No offense but why in the heck would I believe someone with -77 credit? And that's gotta be the dumbest idea I've ever heard... THK with henchies lol

no, henchmen are the best way to do THK.

I will be trying this later, although i already wrote a guide about THK with henchmen, i'll be trying this for the bonus (i didn't get the bonus on my ele yet).

henchies are a great way to do THK. i never actually completed THK with with real people except when i helped them through it as a way of making money (from drops not for getting them through) but i did it every time with hench. it just takes a little getting used to but it's very effective.

i think its more easy like this (if u want to join/make human group instead of henchies, wich is doable but sometimes more tricky to have some view arround the keep)

1 healer
1 prot
2 tanks
1 ranger(trapper)
2 nukers
1 necro(mm or ss) or mesmer(illusionist)

the nukers each equip 1 catapult and call when they see incoming foe's

and than u got a group at the east gate consisting of a tank + monk + trapper

and a team on west gate consid of monk + necro or mesm + tank

the nukers can nuke very well from top this way and if needed, a necro or trapper can go other side to back-up

this is a very easy way to make it to the end without ever getting in trouble.

the only trick in this mission is => communicate with ur team !!

henchmen follow orders a whole lot better than (most) people ;)

yea i know, but its more fun to do with guildy's or m8's when ur on teamspeak/ventrilo. than its easy as hell!

but that's not the point, the point is that this guide calls for henchmen (henchmen arn't better than a good team that works well together, but in this case - they work jsut as well)

I tottaly disagree . The main reason for this is that 95% at THK dont know what the hell there doing one team had a 55hp monk claiming to be healing another had a mesmer using warrior skills the fact is henchmen play there roles and listen to your calls i can complete the whole game with henchmen 5 x faster than with a team of people. I like to listen to peoples idea but when the credit comes into the fact that this build works for any character thats a different matter the people on this forum may not like the way i reply to forums or dont like the design of my guides but theres a huge difference between forum skill and game skill and in the game i can do any mission i feel with a team of henchmen and the fact you think this is a dumb idea why dont you try it im sure you will change your mind.If you cant do it then how about you come and watch me do THK with 5 henchmen , yes not much a stupid idea when most ppl struggle to do it with a team of 8 real people. This is not a dumb idea this is the best way to do THk

I've done it 10 times with henchman so far, and 0 times with real people. People really suck in this game.

Okay my experience from THK mission last night. 2 Rangers 1 Necro, 2 Healer henchies, 1 Ele Henchie, 2 Fighter henchies. Followed your instructions to the "T" and made it just as posted. + Creds for your information.

PS Trapped like hell around King after the tundra giants died off help a whole bunch as well. Anyway my guy is now in Ember Light Camp.

Its fine im happy to explain when something so hard is so simple to do .If anyone struggle with thirsty river you can use the teams to fight each other this is how i made river able to solo u pull 1 team into another and they fight .(this isnt a perfected teqnique but if your bored in game some time waiting for favour ect, give it a go and send in the feedback)

OK,
Experience #2 of THK with Henchies. We did it again last night with 3 players and henchies. We would have won it, but we got jumped. The henchies died. We got the Mesmer Mursaat boss. Everytime I tried to rez got nailed with energy surge and something else. I died. The other 2 of my teammates killed everything but the Mesmer boss. But alas, neither had Rez on them. If i could have gotten rezzed i could have gotten the team back on it's feet. Lesson learned on this run. Always, Always, I repeat always carry ressurrect or some fashion of rez on your character when going into mission.

PS - It was funny to watch the monk Stone Summit boss go down by the Mursaat. We even saw some Mursaat attacking each other. Anyway, another try tonight.

If you are one of the people that say man over bot then you are crazy. Just think about it. What is the warrior to monk ratio? Its about 30 to 1. "Monks on strike" as they say. And mixing players with the Healing Hanchmen is not so good because you cant split up the team. Henchmen tend to follow one player. Go all henchmen or all humans is what I have to say. And if you are looking for a build. Be sure to have two trappers not one.

Escape {E}
Troll Ugnent
Distracting Shot (takes down bosses fast)
Rez sig/Reserect (NOT REBIRTH)

Torlax The Great - R/(Everything) - lvl 20
Drogod Rathen - E/Mo - lvl 19
Torlax The Brute - W/Mo - lvl 8
Desin Of The Lost - Mo/Me - lvl 9

The concept is simple. Henchies focus fire. Focus fire is often more important that having good builds.

I unfortunatly didn't figure this out until I'd beaten it with my 3 PvE's. This mission nearly made me quit the game when I used pick up groups. But with mostly henchies, I've helped guildies (1-2 human players plus myself at a time) do this mission/bonus several times.

Heck, I'd to this mission with a blank skillbar and all henchies sooner than a pick up group.
