The Strangest Item you've seen.

My Girlfriend found this in a chest in the Underworld, anyone have an idea what originaly drops them? Jade Armors?

Well, it sounds sensible that the Armors would drop them, but honestly, I've no idea. Never seen one before.

Yeah, i've killed lots of Jade Armors,(done THK like 8 times). But never seen one droped.

Yeah, strange item.
What's with the colours? I never get how you find a purple and it can be worse than a blue.. I always expect purple to be better than blue..

Didn't recognise the word so just looked it up on dictionary.com:
Gorget:
- A piece of armor protecting the throat.
- An ornamental collar. -The scarflike part of a wimple covering the neck and shoulders.
- A band or patch of distinctive color on the throat of an animal, especially an area of brightly colored feathers on the throat of a bird.

Wimple:
- A fold or pleat in cloth.
- A ripple, as on the surface of water.
- A curve or bend.

I'm interested in seeing other items like this. I know there are some. There is a chest in dreadnoughts drift that drops rare armors. Once saw an armor come out of it. forgot it's name but never seen them either.

I've seen a number of items that struck me as odd. One was an offhand that had "improved recast of Soul Reaping skills". I had to stop and think about that, then I was like: "WTF?! There aren't any Soul Reaping skills!"

Then there is the "Idiot Chalice". It's a chalice I found that has +5 energy and -5 energy on it. Both are unconditional. So it always has +and-5 energy. Thus I dubbed it "The Idiot Chalice"

If you're refering to the item I had found with bonus for soul reaping skills, I'd like to add that I found it a long time ago. Long before they started giving us sneak peek stuff of Factions.

If you're referring to the original item posted, it's possible since it is labeled a Jade item. But it is still a possibility that it's simply something Jade Armors drop. I don't recall having seen if they drop Salvagable gear. I'm usually with henchmen when I kill one, so it's very rare to get a drop from them.

I've seen a collector's off hand that had 20/20 for fast casting skills. I was so confused when i saw it. Now i know there is one fast casting skill. I guess if your build was based around mantra of recall it'd be nice. If it even gets the 20/20 bonus since it's not a spell.

jade gorget ... doesnt sound liek mursaat to me. On the other hand i found a Bloodstained jerkin once I know who drops it, do you ?

they infact are not from teh land of tyria :) but from cantha :)

hence it probably came from a chest as there are no jades in either uw :)

the good thing is u can get them in hoh and ppl have been unlocking the runes :) for assasin and ritualist.

my friend got daggers and unlock some mod

We just did Villany of Galrath and a Eyes of Vereta droped a Bloodstained Jerkin. Maybe the Jade Gorget is droped by some uncommon NPC. It's not everyday you kill Eyes of Vereta :P

That 'Soul Reaping' focus is in Droknar's: you can get it from the collector there, if you're daft enough :p

I did spend several minutes staring at it once wondering if there was something I didn't know.. hehe.

The ogre knife is about the weirdest item I've actually come across I think, but maybe that'd get the prize for 'most useless' item, rather than 'weirdest' LOL

this is the first time ive seen something like this it looks a bit like a stone. if i get peices of armor from a chest they tend to be from enemy that are near the chest so i would guess its a creature from that area.
