| No trading between Heroes and Villains |

Well, I expected this, but here's the offical response from Positron as to why Heroes and Villains can't trade with one another:
| QUOTE | OOC reason:
Game balance.
Influence and Infamy are currently two economies based on the same model, at different stages in their lives. Influence is FAR more available than Infamy, and if we allow trading we would destroy any CoV economy that was beginning to come into its own.
Enhancements can't be traded because there would be a new class of Villain, the "Instant-hami-O'ed" where a Villain is fully stocked with Hami's as soon as he hits 50. Again, this is the by-product of a 20 month old economy interacting with a 3 month old one.
Inspirations cant be traded because we want to be able to have Hero-specific and Villain-specific inspirations in the future, and allowing trade would allow all Inspirations to trade.
In Character Reason:
You would be giving advantages to and arming the "other side". A hero arming a villain would most likely be an illegal act, and a villain arming a hero would be suicide, as that hero may one day come back and use that against the villain in question.
Also Influence is a numerical value of how much "sway" you have over the populace of Paragon City. Infamy is a numerical value of how much "intimidation" you have over the populace of the Rogue Isles. They are really two completely different things, that just coincidentally begin with the same three letters and have the costs and drop rates identical between both games.

That third reason a load of crap. Influence and Infamy have absolutely no "sway" in the game. Its money. Pure and simple. When a SG member gives you Influence/Infamy (which has happened to me several times), does it skyrocket me in the rankings and let me do higher level stuff? Not a chance. All it means is that I can buy more enhancements or update them more often. I can agree with the first two reasons (even though the second one is more of a roleplaying reason than logical reason). But the third one is just lame.

The in character reason is that when a high level character gives you influence they're essentially "putting in a good word" for you.
Realistically, it's money. However as an "in character" thing, it's not.

I can see it being interesting to trade with some heroes. Before that Danceclub that opened for both heroes and villians to go to, the only place to trade would be a PvP area. And in that case I'd rather be killing them then trading them any day.

I gotta admit I understand the reason but it is a lot harder to obtain infamy than influence. For example if you rescue someone in CoH they run up to you and give you an influence bonus in CoV there is no bonus. It seems small but it does add up!

I can understand the not trading enhancements and infamy/influence thing.
But i was teaming (with my Stalker) with me old pal Firespray's Defender, Flat Line and noticed he was low on end so i went to try and give him a CAB and wasnt allowed to.... fortunatly neither of us i died
Surely giving Insps in a Co-op mission should be allowed
