| Problem: Changing your caracter in SP |

4Hello
I am tying to change my caracter in Single Player into a caracter you normaly can't choose. I already unlocked the exra's with my other profile.
I have created a new profile to try it. My caracter is Jakob, and I want to change it into Xan. In my save game file SP_MauReI.uvx I changed
]MauReI ]Jakob ]
Into
]MauReI ]Xan ]
As expected, It didn't work: As soon as I select my profile, the game crashes with an long error. I guess this is protected, because it is hacking what I am doing.
Or is it something els? Do I need to change more codes?
Can anyone help this new guy out?

You can unlock all the characters (including XAN) by going to UT2004/System/user.ini, open it using notepad, search for TotalUnlockedCharacters= , and make the entire line TotalUnlockedCharacters=Xan;Malcolm;ClanLord .

Thats not really what I meant, I already unlocked those extra characters, for instant action and multiplayer with that code. (thnx anyway)
But i was wondering: are you able to play the single player with Xan?, not the instant action but the tournament? Are you able to change your character into Xan by messing up some of the codes?

And at last the whole idea is to create a sweet team with malcolm, brock, lauren and clanlord by messing up the codes and play with team (thats why I want to play as Xan, it is beginning of creating that team)
Yes, I know I am sick that thats my goal :D
creating this master team!! Muhahahahahah
