As many of you have already seen in IRC chat, I've more or less finished the CoH video I started working on a few days ago.
Here is Get off the shed!, presented by the Freedom Phalanx Not Ready for Primetime Players.
Please note this is a new link to the video, not as fast as before but it has no monthly bandwidth cap. The file will soon be removed from the previous site.
I've seen it countless times forward and backward while in the process of making it, and yet I'm still laughing at what I've done.
I also have videos from a couple of MMO Radio parties at Warbride's Home Videos page.

Who knew Statesman and Miss Liberty had settled down and had kids. Wow. They save the world and have to deal with unruly children as well. They really are heroes. :)

That was great! But how did you get the characters you did, youcant make Statesman ingame yet can you?

They are all NPCs, just like any villain, contact, pedestrian, or victim in the game. There is a Statesman NPC model even though he does not appear anywhere in the game as far as I know.
To make the video, I hand-wrote .cohdemo files in notepad, using actual .cohdemo recordings as a reference to discover the names of the various emotes and actions. For example I had to log in as one of my energy blaster alt chars to get a sample of the power thrust attack animation.

Just as long as you dont try to sell it/make money on it. Or abuse it in some other way/shape/form that would look bad for the creator of the game/consept.

I suggest downloading it and playing it from your hard drive instead of trying to stream it off the web site. It's not encoded for streaming, and the bit rate is 175 Kbits variable. I couldn't go much lower or else the chat bubbles would be unreadable. It plays fine on my 1 GHz Pentium 3 laptop.

Bastion would make an excellent Will Ferrel/Alex Trebeck.
Unless you make it Statesman again since it was him for the last one.
I also would think Woodsman or Malaise could make a good Darrel Hamond/Sean Connery. Or possibly Clockwork King, just because he seems so mean on MMO Radio. Then again, I'd be ticked if my brain was connected to a giant mechanical robot. Or would I...

My approach for Celebrity Jeopardy is to use player costumes with the likenesses of Trebek and the 3 actors. There will be a few aspects of CoH worked into it similar to Get Off The Shed that I hope you'll find amusing.
