I have tried recently to upload my own avatar but i couldnt since it wasnt a JPEG, i clearly saved it as a jpg then i tried and made it JPEG and finally JPG but still i got the same problem, please fix this.

It's browser-related. In IE it works fine, Mozilla has a hard time with it. Try switching over to IE to upload the avatar until we get the problem solved.
