What is the Best race?

hell i have just purchased this game because i seen my friend playing it...he is a glad lvl 47...i was just wondering what is the best race to choose...i kno some of my friends who chose the wrong race and now they cant join a clan cuz they dont want them...so i was wondering what all ur opinions are about the best race...so that i will be able to join a clan...thx much for ur time..

Hm.....orc is the stronger
Many people use Dark Elf because they looks cool

It All Depends On Your Style Of Play . I Like To Be In The Front Hacking And Slashing So I Picked Human . If You Want To BE The Person To Ger In And Get Out With A Quick Kill . You Should Go For The Dark Elf . If You Want To Be Able To Beat The Crap Out Of Things Go Orc . Elfs Are A Pretty Well Rounded Class .
Im A Human Incase You Were Wondering .

I have 2 dark elfs because they have really good spells and buffs.

Dark Elfs have low HP but they make huge damage in one shot (good for PK). They also look good :P

Orcs have a looott of HP but their moves are slow (they run really slow...) so it is hard to escape.

Humans are good for tank! useful in party!

Elfs are good with bow (also are great buffers).

Dwarves are rich :P They have the most HP possible in that game but their MP is used to create items and spoil monsters (sweet drop).

im gonna be a elf or dark elf i carnt descide which will be better what would u recommend out the 2

Well,

I have 2 dark elfs. They are nice but they are the first one to get attacked by stupid PvP because we dont have much life but we make great damages on enemies.

Dark elfs are really usefull in party too. Oracle or wizard, their spells are really appreciated!!

Elfs are good too. the Silver Ranger (if you like to fight with bow) are the faster and often discourage PvP.

Elf oracles are good too but doesnt not have as good spells as DE (Vampiric Rage especially :P).

Its hard to choose between those two. They are still very similar ...

Hmm, im actually not that high level but i think im doing alright ^^, im actually a Human Warrior going onto Gladiator. I have a friend who is a lvl 37 (dark Elf) and again im a lvl 30 and to surprise i realised i had more hp then him already.

I love all the classes but i go for magic, ALOT. I also like to have melee. Does anbody have any suggestions for me?

And what is the most usefull in a clan or group other than the healers?!

it depends on what you want, if you want a strong character its better to go with Orcs, but im Human, i think they look the best our of all with armour on

in BETA i had a lvl 15 mage, and i bought a broad sword, i would use magic on a mob, then rush in and finish him off with my sword. best of both worlds

First off, i like magic, specially in this game. When i saw the skills in a site for the human sorcerer and necromancer, it was hard to choose for me. But im going for the sorcerer because of all the fire magic.

Lineage 2 C1= lvl 37 human wizard
C2= lvl 17 human mystic

Well,
If you wanna be a warrior, be a orc, they have superb strenght and stamina.
If you wanna be a mage, be a elf or human, they both have fast casting speed and strong magical attacks
And if you want to be a good balance of long range warrior, be a Silver Ranger or a Phantom Ranger, although i recommend the Silver Ranger =P

There are 3 types of chars:....>the damage-dealing char(ex. rogue,assassin etc) ,.........>the tank (orc in general /or humans:all orcs & human knight) and the mistics
So if u wana go tank go with orc or k. human if u w.............u get it.
the human warrior is a type of tank and dmg dealer in one but doesnt ecxed in nothin.

Play what is most fun for you...this is a GAME, hence I would think 'fun-factor' should be a higher priority for you than making what people tell you to make.
And...if a Clan/Guild turns you away based SOLELY on your race...then that is a clan you should not want to be part of. Good clans are more interested in the level progression of your character(how far you plan on going with the character) and the personality of the person playing said character...not on your characters' race.

I havent acualy gotten the game yet but im getting it in like 3 days so from what i know i would choose elf just because they have healing spells and can move quickly.....is elf a good race?

Science says we evolved from apes. Christianity says god created Adam and Eve. If science is right that means theres no god but if theres no god then who created the apes?.....thats a noodle scratcher.

well wether you choose light elf, dark elf, or human you can get healing spells... but the elves do move quicker and don't look nearly as funny running either....

No when you get the game you shoukd first visit the Lineage 2 official site. There you must sign-up for an NCSoft account. And when you make an NCSoft account they have you make a game account. When you have registered an account you can add a game in your account. Either with a credit card (or a gamecard) you can add time to a game. When you have done that you can start up the game you are able to use it.

When you log in using your game account login information they give you a list of servers (There is where you should join Erica). After choosing which server you can make a character on that server. Though you are not limited to one server. I have alts on 2 other servers that I never play...which reminds me I need to delete them.

That's about it but if you have any other questions just post 'em here :)
