Just bought COV after playing COH for a few months. However I think I've dropped a clanger when I set up the account. I've now got 2 seperate games with 2 seperate charges on my PlayNC account screen. I sent a help message to them yesterday but still haven't had a reply but what I was wondering is if I should just deactivate the COV account and use the upgrade button on the COV account or have I already locked the activation number up, never to be used again.

Hey, there...glad you found us, and welcome to the site!
You can give that a try, but I believe you should just wait for support to get back with you. I haven't dealt with this personally before, but other site users have, so they'll be able to help you out more with details.
But you are correct in what should have happened...you need to ugrade your coh account, not add a new game.
Many others have had this problem too, so don't dispair. I think support needs to straighten it out for you, though. There have been posts about it here before, but I can't seem to find them at the moment.

Yeah, I screwed this one up as well... it may take them a bit, but they will get back to you, and fix it up. Patience...

I did the same kinda thing, cause i forgot my old COH sign in. Waited like 7 months to come back. Took them like 5 or six days to get it all straight but they issues me a new code to use to upgrade. amke sure if there are any names you want to remake on the COV account you have now, delete them before finalizing the change, cause they didnt transfer characters. I forgot and lost 2 names i really liked. but i got over it quick. for now fiddle with the costumes and AT's and then when they reissue, you can hone in on what you want.

Luckily I spotted this straight away so I haven't created any characters yet so nothing to lose in that respect. I'll let you know once it's sorted.

How long do you think I should leave this before harassing them?
The only thing I've heard is an e-mail to say they were passing it on to an Account Support Representative which was on Sunday evening. Since then, nothing.

well, it can't hurt to poke them a bit...
I can't seem to find it, but somewhere there's a post with NCSoft's customer support phone number. IIRC, somebody posted it after using it to get their account straightened out. You might look through the troubleshooting forum here, and over on the City of Villains forum on the...gasp...hero...side of the site.

it took me a few days, but after they send the email, your in the queue. i think mine all told took like 5 or 6 days

I would call them and complain. Use the word "unacceptable" in there somewhere. I'm quite certain it will be fixed in no time. :) "Unacceptable" is a great word to use with customer service people, it just drives things home really well.

so no one found a solution i kinda have a similar problem but i want to keep my cov account since i have more higher level characters on it is possible to upgrade my cov to coh

As I posted in the other topic you started...
The first thing you absolutely need to do is contact the PlayNC people. Nothing's going to happen without them. E-Mail or Phone is the best way, their number/e-mail is on their website. They'll tell you where to go from there but from what I've heard, you'll need to delete one of the accounts, which means that you'll lose the characters on whichever account is deleted since there's no way to transfer characters between accounts. Good luck with your problem.

Hurrah, it's done. Did indeed require the deactivation of the COV account and a new activation code. Strangely enough it's exactly a year to the day when I started my COH account.
Time to try being evil now.
Now, what do I choose.....
