Um around holloween you could trade stone sumt badges for holloween items and they did sell for alot more money right beacause when i told trhis guy i was saving mine for next holloween he said im a stupid noob am i for thinking this event could happen again?

First of all, you had to leave your sanity behind when you signed up for an account here, right? That should settle the general question :-)
As to thos summit badges. Don't worry about what other people say. I was collecting Charr Carvings way before any of those events took place and sold them when I had about 500 of them. Of course, I had to do that just prior to the event that used them...
But, Judging by two whole events that used collectable items for drinks and whatnot, I get the impression they try to rotate the different items. So there's no telling if a next event would make use of Stone Summit Badges. Might just as easily be White Mantle one's next time round.

i'm thinking maybe easter, i think that would be wkd, giant chocolate bunnie henchies and chocolate bar swords so on, but (dare i say it) WoW have had the christmas like guy 2 years running atleast, so no reason why GW would not have halloween and christmas stuff again.

To reply to the question at its core, No! you are not crazy coz of this.
Alot of people have their mind set how things work and you planning for the future shocked them and as they had no smart reply just say "you stupid noob".
This has become the cry of many players who cant think quick enough or have no as yet found a place to download the right reply for that question lol.
Planning for the future both real life and in game is not a bad thing and you will be one of the rare ones who will be ready if it happens.
As for being crazy I would say anyone who has thought outside the box has dipped into the chaos of real fife. Sanity is just a word that keeps you in line and controls your thinking. NO! Im not a loonie, just think of "anyone" in history that found something new or a new and better way of thinking, they were all called crazy.

Your smart for saving them. I started saving Carvings after the halloween event, and guess what.... THey was used for the Wintersday event. I have over 20,000 of them things... I became rich overnight.. xD

But why do you want to sell your charr furbies? I don't colect them but still. Why not just do something funny and put them all over the ground in piles of 1 and take a screenshot and label it. Bevare of my char furbie army before selling them at high prices to the masses?
