| Emergency Maintenance on Triumph! |

I got a quick 10 minute warning about Emergency Maintenance, but sure enough I tried to finish my mission that I already invested 30 mins into!! GGGRRRR!!!
Hopefully, this will be a worthwhile fix and not a BS interruption!
There has been a lot a little problems lately, I hope I7 fixes these issues and not complicate things more!!
I grow weary about spending $15 a month for a buggy game!

would you rather they ahdnt fixed it and come back to find out that the error they were fixing caused it so the mission doesnt show being done, and thus no xp either? It comes with the territory for all online rpgs. they're not that frequent. make an alt on another server for times like that maybe?

Here is my two cents:
I am pissed. I realize emergency maintenance sometimes happens and all, but just Triumph? I only have characters on Triumph! All of my friends play on Triumph! Most everyone from GameAmp plays on Triumph! Shut down Protector or something, no one is on them! Sheesh. And I just got my Assault Bot last night, worked all day, and haven't even gotten a chance to play with him yet. Stupid Triumph.

Why is it that after 2 years plus that they still can't post that they will be taking the servers down. Again they have issues and all of the email addresses of the people that play these games. Why can't they send out messages before hand.

wow...how long would that take? sending everyone personal emails to let them know that the servers will be down for about 10 mins. after eveyone is notified, it would be like 2 hours later and then you'd have to add the 10 minute downtime on top of that...lol. Now that would be enough to drive me mad.

They went down because of an apparent internal issue with the server. It was awarding everyone who logged in two badges. They took Triumph down and put in a "hotfix" and had to roll the server back to the time of the incident.
So if you made any badge progress or earned a badge then, you will have to start over where you left off.
Then they took all servers down to fix them so this wouldn't happen again.

I noticed that I got some badges! It just really sucks that you lose all the progress you made. I just happened to be in a long mission where I had to kill all in the mission. I was so close to being finished! :(

Yea I got a PM back from Cuppa and she said it was either this or possible character corruption, and if they could have done it any other way they would have. So i'm kinda glad they nipped it in the bud early.
